Angels POV
Omg, omg, omg!!! Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! I squealed as soon as I saw Miki walk through the school gates.
Tonight we were going to see Imagine Dragons live in Melbourne...and as you can probably guess we are pretty excited. I had been waiting for this day for 5 months, 5 frickin months. Those were the hardest months of my life, waiting for something you're really excited about is a lot harder than most people think. Miki had only been waiting about a week, I gave her the spare ticket for her birthday. I made her think that one of our best friends was going and of course she was really jealous. But I worked it out so that her dad knew about it and let her go and that our friend didn't mind not going. On her birthday we put balloons in her locker, sung happy birthday and I pulled out an envelope to give her. She slowly opened it and squealed really loudly, our whole class was looking at her and she sheepishly smiled at them. Everyday since then we had been planning everything from the time it takes to get there to how much money we had to spend there. For the whole day I could not and would not stop squealing and my class was getting really pissed at me. My teachers sent me out of class six times because I couldn't concentrate and kept distracting people. The day ended up pretty bad for Miki because she jinxed herself, she had a fill in math teacher that was really bad, English and health was terrible and she got hit in the head with a volleyball during sport and ended the day in tears.
As the last bell went I looked at Miki and yelled "FIVE MORE HOURS". Everyone looked at me like I was crazy and I probably was but Miki smiled knowingly and excitedly at me.
I struggled my way painfully through Junior Jazz after school. Don't get me wrong I love Junior Jazz but I just couldn't concentrate or sit still. At 4:30 I quickly packed up my saxophone and ran to my dad's waiting car. My main instrument is bassoon but at the start of year 8 I decided to learn saxophone as well and of course bassoon isn't a jazz instrument.
I got to my dad's car, chucked my stuff in the boot and got in the back seat. I smiled at him confidently and said "let's go".
A/N: Hey guys, sorry this chapter was terrible and boring but I promise it will get better.
This chapter is dedicated to my friend Yuki, happy birthday and enjoy!
