One hundred sleepless nights

School(part one.)

Devin's P.O.V

When we got out the car I took Anya to her first class then caught up with my only three friends Kellin,Dante, and Alisa.They were the only three in the school who didn't care about their family's wealth so we got along pretty well.I walked over to them"What's wrong guys?" I asked cause they looked pissed "We got a stupid assembly cause of school being out yesterday" Dante said with a angry huff.We usally liked assembly's cause they meant we got time out of class but these were the type were at the end everyone walks out pissed cause we have to stay longer due to us being out the day before."On the good side check out the new girl" Kellin said pointing over to a girl about my height(Im 5'5 by the way)with long beautiful red and black hair that caught my attention instantly cause those are two of my favorite colors.Then all of a sudden I remembered the same hair colors and style 'just like....no all girls change their hair' I thought before having a memory of something kinda old...

(Flashback)

"Do you wanna sleep next to me tonight?"Robin asked me with a small grin and I responded with a blush and a nod."Hey Devin what were your favorite colors again?"she asked which confused me a little cause I at least told her a hundred times by now.I made a plan in my head then I took her hand and looked her in the eyes"Red,black,white,and blue"
my plan worked apparently
because a dark blush showed up on her cheeks,she nodded and layed down"Thanks now time for sleep"with that I layed down beside her and drifter to sleep...

Next morning

I woke up and didn't see robin next to me so I went looking around to find her at the breakfast table with black and red hair and it made her look even more beautiful somehow then she looked my way and gave me a warm smile as I stood there with wide eyes.

(Flashback end)

Alisa woke me up from my walk down memory lane with a wide grin across her face."Why are you looking at me that way?", "Ok so while you were zoned out I went and told the new girl about you and now she's very intrested in you" she said with a huge grin on her face and just knowing what the new girl thought about me made me blush a lot.
Devin:"What's her name?"

Alisa:"Her name's Melody"

Kellin&Dante:Devin and Melody sitting in a tree k.i.s.s.i.n.g,first comes love then co-

Devin:Shut up!!
I yelled at the two then glanced over to Melody who was looking over to us giggling 'yup this is gonna be interesting' I thought as I headed into the auditorium and stopped by our school's principal Ms.Dudley as she asked me and my friends to play a last minute preformance of two songs(yeah I forgot to say me and my friends are in a band im lead guitar but me and Kellin switch between vocals but Kellin can play guitar too,Dante is a bass player,and Alisa is our drummer)We took a moment to consider it and turned back to her and all of us yelled yes.Us and our class went to be seated and we heard our principles voice through the speakers,"students and staff of the school thank you for being here today the assembly will begin when the student's parents come in and this assembly wont end with you having longer classes kids".From the moment she said parents I bit my lip and balled up my fist in anger of seeing them again so early then I felt Dante rub my back,"It's ok man"he said as he grinned in a goofy way as I nodded in agreement.A half an hour pased by now and all the students off the school had been seated aswell as the parents that made it and surprisingly my parent's made it too and the weird thing about it was they looked excited.The assembly started with the principal talking about it but we didn't care we only talked about our performance and joked a bit till Kellin stopped us,"look guys it's the new girl on stage!"he said and we look at the stage to see Melody holding the microphone then she started singing a song I knew to well it was kissing in cars by pierce the veil which sounded good when a guy sings it but sounds really beautiful when a girl does.Without even knowing it I was rocking like the song was apart of my soul and it made me feel warm inside but by the end of the song I snapped back to reality with a huge blush for no reason 'that was beautiful' I thought as we were called next for our first song and went to get ready.
