Levi's POV

I do not understand? I just got a text from Arden asking for me to pick up some sugar and eggs. Why does she need these at this moment? Anyways I'm already in the checkout line and I can not wait to get home to my family, it has been a long day.

Driving home you can see all the Christmas lights coming from the houses. I need to remember to put up the Christmas lights tomorrow with the kids. I get onto our street and park in the driveway. I just sit there and take it all in this will be the 11th year with my children and wife. Things have flown by but I can remember every second of it.

I decide it's time to go inside, and get out of the cold. I walk through the front door and yell hello, but no one answers. I walk further into the house and hear music coming from the kitchen. I don't know what's happening in there but I'm about to find out.

I peek around the corner of the kitchen wall to see my family. My 11 year old daughter Julia is dancing around with Arden singing Christmas songs. All while this is going on the mixers on the oven has preheated to temperature and the dog is running around barking like crazy. My 2 year old son Jackson is joyfully watching this entire exchange go on from the kitchen floor with our cat in his lap.

I turn away and let my back slide down the wall. All I can think is that one day this life wasn't even a possibility. If I hadn't have met Arden the way I did how would I have turned out. My family is on the other side of this wall and I would risk my life and limb for anyone in that room. I have never felt this way in my entire life and it's the best damn feeling ever. If this had never of happened where would I be?

I didn't have much time to think before my son tumbled over to me yelling "DADDY!".

"Hi buddy. What are you doing?"

I picked him up and carried him to the kitchen. My daughter finally saw me and walked over to give me a kiss.

"Hi Dad! Me and Mom are making sugar cookies, but we don't have enough ingredients." She frowned at me then looked back at me with her Mother's eyes and a hopeful stare " You did get the ingredients,Right...?"

"Well of course." Handing the bag over to Arden so I can deal with Jackson who is playing with my ears.

"Come here Julia we need to finish before the butter melts" Calls Arden. Julia follows her to finish baking the cookies, while I put Jackson in his highchair. I start to heat up some left overs and go sit down to eat. Once I'm finished Julia comes to me with a tray of cookies they baked earlier. I took two and sat her on my lap so she could have some too.

"Come on kids it's time to go to bed. Let's go get ready." Arden comes over to picking up a sleepy Jackson and Julia.

I head to Arden and I's room to change into pj's and also get ready because I'm too tired. Once I'm finished I go to the kids rooms say goodnight and tuck them in. I go to Jackson's room first to see that he is fast asleep with his favorite toy and blanket under his arms. I go over to kiss him and turn on his mobile, I try to leave as silently as possible to go to Julia's room. When I walk in I see both Arden and Julia lying in their Pj's reading a book and talking. I give Julia a kiss and whisper "I'm going to lie down" in Arden's ear. She gives me a nod of acknowledgment and goes back to what she was doing.

I've been lying down for a few minutes when I feel a small dip in the bed then feel a head on my chest. I immediately know it's Arden by the way she draws circles on the inside of my arm. The problem though is that she won't look me in the eyes and she's not talking.

"What's wrong Arden. You don't need to hide anything I can tell there is something on your mind."

She looks up at me and sighs "Promise me something. Promise that what I'm about to tell isn't going to change anything."

"Okay. I promise."

She takes a deep breathe then just blurts out "I'm Pregnant"

I just stare at her in shock. "Please don't be mad at me know we never really talked about a third child, but I know that we can love this child as much as Julia and Jackson..."

I snap out of my moment of shock and lift her onto my lap. " I'm not mad at you Arden I'm really happy." Showing her a smile. " I do know that I'll love this child as much as I love Jackson and Julia. This child is a blessing and he or she will encircle my entire life."

She lets out a breathe of relief and lays her head on my chest. I put my arms around and hug her to me. I now know that my family isn't complete, not yet at least.

My family is my entire life and this newest edition already has a piece of my heart .
