A river
Deep and blue
It's water
Pours over a rock
Raging yet laughing
The canyon towers over me
Standing high and proud
The sun glints down
It's beautiful rays
Making the rock look more brilliant
The humble stream
It's not jealous
For its content with
Churning up cloudy water
The river deep and blue
Looks up at the proud canyon
And the canyon smiles back
