School Life (Ruby's POV)

Chapter 3: Don't Mess With Kaleb and Hayden

Once I heard the bell ring I immediately just walked to the cafeteria with Nat walking beside me and Hunter walking beside her.

"Hey guys" we heard Hayden said, we saw him but not Kaleb, we just continued walking to the cafeteria and while I was walking I heard some of Charlie's friends walking by insulting me while Nat just glared at them.

Once we got there we saw a teacher dragging Kaleb, we made eye contact and I was just shocked 'did he get in trouble or something?'.

Kaleb waved to me and I just waved back still shocked about what just happened.

"Now that I think about it, there were rumours about Kaleb being expelled from his old school by beating up teachers and students and drinking and smoking on school grounds" Nat said I began getting scared 'beating up teachers and students, drinking and smoking? sounds a lot like someone I know'

We all got our lunches and sat down at a random table with Nat sitting next to Hunter and Hayden sitting next to Hunter on one side, and me sitting next to nobody on the other side.

I saw Kaleb walked over to our table sat down next to me with his arm was brushing against mine, I didn't move away so he didn't either.

"So what did the bad boy do?" Nat asked Kaleb.

"Bad boy? I prefer bad ass" Kaleb said smirking I rolled my eyes at him

"So what did you get caught doing?" Hayden asked.

"Nothing" Kaleb paused to think "What's the name of the teacher that was dragging me to the office"

"Mr Pevensie our art teacher" I answered

"What you planing on doing" Hayden asked knowing Kaleb wanted revenge.

"Let me think" he said while putting a finger on his chin "does he have a car?"

Hayden smiled knowing what Kaleb's planning to do. "Last class meet my by your bike" he nodded.

'And here is the school's bad boys' I thought shaking my head

For the rest of lunch we ate and talked about random stuff, next I had History and Biology.

Kaleb also apparently had history, so we walked to class together and sat next to each other.

"W-what are you g-going to do?" I asked him since the teacher wasn't here yet, I was kind of scared on what exactly are they gonna do.

"Nothing" he said as he started to play with his lip ring, I knew he was lying obviously.

"Sure" I said obviously not believing him, the teacher walked in so I got out my notebook and started to take notes.

After a while in class, around five minutes before that class would end he spoke again

"We shouldn't be friend, I don't want to get you in trouble. Its is best if you stay away" he said.

I didn't have any time to respond as the bell rang and he dashed out of class.

I began walking to my next class which was chemistry with Nat, I was honestly slightly worried about what Kaleb and Hayden would do.

After class I walked back home only to see Mr Pevensie's car which had all of the windows smashed and put at least several hundred dents into his car.

'note to self don't mess with Kaleb and Hayden' I thought before quickly running back home and surprisingly I didn't see any of Charlie's friends who would usually beat me up.
