You see, 2 years ago, Hailey would have been jumping around the shop, stopping to pick her next victim for her long stories, that could leave a customer saying they were bored, but inside they secretly wanting to know why in the world would Vesa slap Donivan.

Alex, her older brother, would have been nudging her on the shoulder lighlty trying not to let her bore thier customers to death, smiling at her as Hailey let out a small sigh of joy.

But it is not two years ago, honestly, if she had a choice, she would have lived those two years forever. Scoffing when she heard of the furture.

Her parents had died in a car crash, Hailey decided not to even show up to the funeral not being able to handle the sight of her parents leaving her, not believing that they had died, hoping she would just wake up in a pool of sweat, sighing in relief as they woke up from the bad nightmare.

Nightmare

Seems like the right word to call her life right now.

The small girl had changed.

Hailey sat on the counter, her arms wrapped around her chest as if somebody would come out at her any minute.

Out came Alex with his disheveled hair, completely aware of all of the girls drooling like a sleep walker. She nearly snorted as a girl slid her finger up and down his chest in a desperate matter.

Pulling some of her hair behind her ear she slumped down in her seat and rolled her eyes to heaven.

Alex soon walked away leaving Hailey uncomfortably alone with a pack of girls desprate for a second of attention.

Hailey looked at the clock near the picture of her as a baby, the corners of her mouth slowly turned up, but went down quickly, as if such an action would kill her.

As she fixed the Beanie on her head she walked out the door, letting the warm spring brezze take her hostage.

Without looking where she was going she found herself bump into some thing hard, but incredibly warm, so warm she didn't want to pull away, and thank god she fell speechless to the ground, or else she really wouldn't have let go.

As if it was a reflex Hailey frowned taking in the tall boy that stood in front of her. His hazel eyes held her captive as he stared at her with a worried gaze.

"H-hey, um you ok?" He stuttered shyly, prying his eyes away from her to look at the plants near the sidewalk.

Hailey decided to tease him a bit smriking, but then quickly changing her face into a pained expression, as she pretended to groan in pain.

"Sheesh," She muttered putting a hand to her ankle. "I think I twisted it or something!"

The boy looked back at her quickly, taking in her words. His eyes widened as they filled with gulit.

"Oh gosh, um, I'm so sorry I can take you to my place."

Hailey tried to argue, but before she could, he already had her arm around his shoulder in a way to help her walk better, because her ankle had gotten hurt from the e fall.

"By the way, I'm Hunter."
He beamed, all of a sudden happy that you didn't argue with him.

You smiled back a real smile and waved a little at him.

"I'm Hailey."
