The next morning I woke up to a stifling pain in my head.
I got up, and made a coffee with my unfamiliar kettle in an unfamiliar kitchen drunk by an unfamiliar girl.
It was my birthday next week. I'd be 16. My sweet 16. I planned to go to a spa and buy myself some treats. I'd bee eying up a Lush gift set for $177 which looked amazing and also a pair of Loubutins. That was all. With no boyfriend or family or friends nobody would even know it was my birthday. How sad.
I was happy with the way that this all panned out for me, though, even if I had to do some marginally unholy things to make my life. It wouldn't be easy, and I wouldn't just have money like this for long, but it made me feel happy. And I was only 15. Things could only get better for me.

I went into the city, and counted my money on a bathroom floor.

$30,000

Id put another 3 months rent on my apartment so I had enough but not enough to not get a job. I wasn't going to look for one today.
Tonight.
