I awoke to a handmaiden of Winterfell, she had aroused me from my bed and wrapped my corset around me and tightened as tight as it would go, then I was helped into a dress with fur trimmings. The silk was a sea green, my heels of the same color with some fur around my ankles to keep warm.

I sat down in front of the mirror and let her comb my golden curls out and braid my hair in the southern style, tonight we would celebrate and I would have to wear my best dress for which I was saving. A long red velvet with gold trims, the dress would be tight everywhere, long red cuffs would be about my wrist but I would endure the day in this terrible thing a fore tonight.

I then stepped from my room, I had no idea where the dinning hall would be but I found Sansa just leaving her room, I gave a tender smile and asked her to show me the way," Would you be chance know where the dinning hall is?"

She blushed and tried her best to lift her face in pride," Yes, I do. Would you like to a company me, my prin-Taywin?"

I weaved my arms through hers like we were already friends," Of course I would."

Together we walked the halls and into the dinning hall, everyone was there this morning, Sansa had to take her seat by her sister whereas I had to set at the royal table with my Mother and siblings. Both of my Uncles were there and eating breakfast which wasn't a surprise.

I pulled up my dress and sat down, I started reaching for the bread and burnt bacon. I filled my glass with the minimum amount of wine I was allowed for each meal. My mother spoke up," Taywin, you're not eating much dear."

I swallowed what I had in my mouth and started down at my plate, not much was there, normally I eat a healthy breakfast and not so much of everything else, I looked up to my Mother, her green eyes met mine. The eyes that everyone said was mine but she always corrected me, she always said I had my grandfather's eyes with gold flecks and very unemotional." I'm not hungry this morning, Mother. But I know better than go without breakfast."

Her eyes studied me before I saw approval," A lady never starves herself and never overeats, I'm very pleased with you." Her smile then became real, warm and motherl, the smile everyone loves. She might be a cold hearted bitch to everyone else but fiercely protected her children," How did you sleep last night, dove."

I answered," Very fine, better than we did on the Kingsroad." I then became very questioning and inquisitive," Is Lord Stark going to be Hand of my Father?"

Her eyes dimmed, she never did lie to me about things like this though," Maybe, I think perhaps so. What is your sudden interest in such." She understood that I was more interested in such than Joffrey.

I returned her glare but she didn't notice it or she just blew it off," If I'm to be a lady or queen then I must understand politics and the way of ruling. I need to learn as I age or not at all."

Her smiled stayed and became serious," I hope you won't have to Taywin, it is harder than you can possibly imagine to run a kingdom, much less seven."

I continued to finish my breakfast and ignoring the silence around me, I was about to ask my Uncle Jamie to spar with me until my other uncle spoke up," You want to understand what your Mother and Father really do, okay-what your Mother does."

I sipped from my wine and nodded and gave a smile at his humor," I see some of what they do, I understand better than Joffrey but I'm still only a child."

My uncle swallowed his bacon, he was earning a glare from my Mother, she always hated him," At time it is hard to keep in mind that you are only a child, you act like your Mother. Always ahead of everything your age." My Mother's glare on him eased, she thought he was going to insult her or me.
