Betrayal.
There is no way to describe what it feels like but empty. I sit crouched in the corner of my room, slowly rocking back and forth to the rhythm of my breath. I have a strange hollow feeling, as if nothing will ever be okay again. And maybe it won't.I pick up a picture of me and Sarah, my best friend. Our smiling faces make me want to scream. I smash the picture frame into the ground and watch the shards of glass cascade into a million pieces.
The truth makes me sick. It was all fake. A government experiment. My entire life is a lie. And I didn't even know until yesterday.
