The Day I Become a Fox?!

Today was my birthday, not really excited though. I've had many disaster birthday party's for example, my brother wanted to smash my birthday cake in my face as a prank but he was being a idiot and forgot to let me blow out the candles and he set my clothes on fire. I had to jump in the pool then I got a cold after that.

Another disappointing birthday was when my nemesis, Daisy spread the rumor that I had a contagious disease and no one came to my party.

Right now I'm preparing to get in my sky blue glimmering dress. When I'm done I go into the bathroom to do my hair into curls.

I hear a knock on the door.

"Get out the bathroom I need it!" Nick yells.

"No way!" I shout.

"Let me just get my brush."

I open the lock then I hear snickering then a "Gotcha! Ha". I sigh, I fell for it AGAIN.

1 Second later I have powder all over my face and my dress.

"NICK YOU IDIOT TODAY IS MY BIRTHDAY!"

Today is Saturday so I have school out of the way but the party starts in 30 minutes.

I rush to my shower and I brush off the powder then I go to my room to get a towel. I rush back the bathroom and get undressed and I go into the shower.

I'm thinking how I've got the day planed while in the shower, Get Dressed, Makeup, Hair, Chat with friends, then blow out candles on cake.

Once I get out the shower I get dressed, do makeup, and then do my hair.

"Ding!"
I heard the doorbell ring.

It must be one of my friends.

I walk forwards to the door just then my dad walks in front of me and pushes me to the side.

"Hey!" I say.

"Shh..." My dad whispers.

My dad opens the door and a man with a black cloak is standing in front of my dad.

"What do you want Izick?" My dad quiestioned

" I want the delivery." The man said with a smirk.

" You are not welcomed here."

I saw his eyes turn red just like the one in my dream. Weird how is it that he looks so familiar to the person in my dream?

"I said that I was going to take her one day and today's the day." Izick said.

What? Is he talking about me? No it must be Someone else.

"It's time I take your daughter." Izick said

I felt a shiver go down my spine. I felt like I was going to get kidnapped by this guy! I need answers and I want them now. I have no idea what this guy wants with me and that creeps me out.

"No way Izack." My dad shouts

"I guess I can give you a month, I'll be back to get her."

My dad shuts the door.

"I guess I have some explaining to do." My dad said with a sigh.

We walk over to the living room and sit down.

"Skylar, Hun um your mother was a magical fox who had m-a-g-i-c powers an..."

"Could you stop talking to me like I'm a baby"

"Okay well your mother was a fox queen now you are going to be a fox queen since she had died." My dad explains.

"Well why didn't I become a fox queen when she died?"

"When you turn 15 and you blow out your candles to make a wish you forcefully wish to be turned into a fox."

I'm pretty good at processing information but this time it was super hard to believe. Then the doorbell rang.

"I'll get it" my dad said.

My dad walks over to the door and opens it. My 2 best friends walks in, Brittney, and Kaige.

"Hey girl what's up" they both say

"Nothin much" I say, even though I was lying.

By the time everyone get here it time to blow out the candles. My dad brings out the cake and lights the candles for me. I check under the table to see if my brother was there. Thankfully not.

Everybody starts to sing " happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you..."

When that's over a lean over to my cake and blow out the candles.

I hear a voice in my head saying "become a fox,
become a fox, become a fox"

Then I make a wish to become a fox.
