Knock Knock

I grabbed my warm bowl of cereal and slumped down onto the couch. I just returned from school and holidays were going to start, I planned to do a million of things over the break however the weather wasn't cooperating. The rain was hitting hard against the windows of my room, I could only imagine how cold it was outside. Goosebumps erupted across my body at the thought and I reached over for the remote to the television. Nothing good was on so I decided to just settle on the music channel. Honestly I love all types of music but c'mon the videos for pop songs nowadays butts and boobs everywhere I mean they're basically porn!  Putting the now empty bowl on the side I signed and leaned back, relaxing and trying to mask out the noise of the rain outside.

My body jerked forward as the thunder roared. I must've fallen asleep, god knows when. I lazily rubbed my eyes and reached over for my phone to check the time , only to be blinded by the brightness of the screen a loud groan escaped my lips, its so annoying, I swear my screens isn't even this bright. When my eyes recovered I noticed it was 1AM. I slept for quite a while I guess. Yawning loudly I stood up and walked toward the window and scanned the area outside. It was completely flooded. If anybody was outside I'd pray for them, heck I'd even let them stay the night, the poor souls would be soaked, god knows how many accidents could happen on the road. Honestly it looked like the end of the world. The rain, thunder and lightning  were unbelievable.

The trees were swaying left and right, the thunder roared every so often, honestly it gave me the chills. The atmosphere was so eerie. I hated it. It was the almost perfect scenery for a horror movie. I laughed quietly at the thought.
