Ariwn's POV:

I get up, the light blinding me slightly. I quickly make my way to the bathroom, not hearing any water running, so I'm guessing its not occupied.

That. And the door is wide open.

I jump in and shut the door, locking it. I strip from my clothing and hop into the shower, turning on the hot water.

I shutter as the warm water contrasts with the cold air, making goose bumps spear on my arms as I stand there wetting my hair.

As I rub the watermelon scented shampoo into my hair I think of my day, mapping out what I'll have to do.

I rinse out the shampoo, making sure all the suds are gone, then add the conditioner.

As I think of school I think of my best friend, Carley, and my crush, Gregor.

Thinking over his features; his dark brown eyes and side swept dirty blond hair.

He's about a foot taller than me, and only four days older.

I step out of the warm water and mostly towel dry my hair, then let it air dry.

I dry my face, chest, stomach, arms, legs, and feet.

Then get dressed in my uniform.

My uniform isn't the best, it's a standard Catholic School uniform: red plaid skirt, white polo shirt, red kneels socks and black shoes.

Today, since it's a hot day in Austin, I don't both in taking a sweater.

Sometimes you need one, only in the winter though.

But now, since it's spring, it's getting hotter and hotter.

As I finish off brushing my hair, I scurry down the steps of my home, grabbing my back pack as I go.

Me, Pippin, Delia, Éomer and Éowyn running down the street to get on the same bus to our high school.

Since the twins are fifteen and me and pippin are eighteen, with Delia in the midden, we've almost always been in the same schools.

Only for a few years was Delia and the twins behind.

As we wait we tell funny jokes and listen to music, well, the music we are aloud to listen to.

We have to draw the line on most songs out there.

The bus drives up and the doors open, everyone stepping in that was waiting a the bus stop, including Gregor.

I look around the bus and see that all the seats are taken.

Delia went and sat with her friend Joanna.

Éomer and Éowyn are sitting together.

Even Pippin sat with his friend from soccer.

I sit in the closest seat, sitting next to the window.

I sigh, thinking 'why couldn't Carley live near me?'

I start replaying scenes from The Fellowship of the Ring in my head, but in soon interrupted by Gregor sitting next to me.

He looks at me, smiles, and looks down at his phone.

I sigh inwardly and look back out the window.

As we drive past the lovely landscapes I smile, thinking of what it would be like to be a Hobbit.

The farms reminding me of the Shire.

"Arwin, right?" Gregor's voice asks, I shift my gaze to him and he's staring right at me.

"Yes, my names Arwin." I say, proud of my name.
