Hanna

I looked over and saw Destiny standing at the door. She looked at me wide eyed. "Hanna, you didn't." She said. I don't look her in the eyes. I get up and flush the toilet. I brush my teeth and walk out of the bathroom.

"Hanna" she says. "Please Destiny, can we just not talk about it?" I ask. "Hanna. How can we not talk about it? Why would you do that?" She asks.

"I won't do it again, okay?" I say. "Just don't tell anyone about this. Especially not Caleb." I say. I was going to start crying again.

"Only if you promise not to do it again." She says. "Fine I promise" I say crossing my fingers behind my back. "Good." She says.

I go into mine and Caleb's room and take out my makeup bag. I start to put my makeup on so I can hid my tear stains.

I walk into Olivia's room and look into her crib. She was sleeping so peacefully. I smile at her. "Hanna." I hear my mom say. I turn around and look at her. "Hey mom." I say walking over to her.

I give her a hug. "How are you doing?" "Good." I lie and give her a fake smile. "That's great honey." She says. "Is Olivia asleep?" She asks. "Yeah. She's asleep." I say looking over at the crib.

My mom walks over to the crib and looks in. "She's so beautiful Hanna. She reminds me a whole lot of you when you were younger." She says. I smile. "Really?" I ask looking at my baby.

"Yeah. She's like a mini you. I'm happy that you had her." She says. I smile. "Thanks mom. I'm happy too." I say. "Sorry to just come here like that without telling you, but I didn't want to wait any longer to see my grand daughter." She says. "That's okay. I'm glad your here mom." I say.

I hug her and then I feel myself about to cry. I start to cry while my mom hugs me. "Hanna, what's wrong baby girl?" She asks. "I've been having the dreams again mom." I whisper. "Again Hanna?" She asks. I nod and continue to cry. "Oh Hanna."

"Mom, what if me and Caleb turn out like that? Always fighting? What if he leaves me?" I ask. "Hanna, Caleb loves you so much sweetie. You two are going to last, okay?" "Okay" I say. I pull away and wipe my eyes. My mascara was running.

Caleb walks in and looks at me. "Hanna? Baby, are you okay?" He asks running over to me. "I'm going to go lay down." I say. I walk into our room and lay down on the bed.

"We are heading out now Hanna. I'll let you get some sleep okay?" My mom says. "Okay mom." "And baby girl, those are just dreams. They won't come true." "They already have mom. Those aren't dreams there nightmares. And flashbacks." I say. I hug her and then they leave.

I fall asleep a while later.

I wake up when I hear my baby girl crying. I get up and go into her room. I change her and put her down in her bed. She cries again. I pick her up and she stops.

"I guess you wanna be up." I say. I carry her around her room for a little bit, and then I walk out. I hear Caleb on the phone with someone. I go over to him and he smiles at me.

He continues his phone call. "Yeah mom.... Yeah....I don't know....Maybe. I'll ask. Hold up." He says and pulls the phone away from his ear. "Han, my mom asked if we wanted to come to Cali this weekend." He says. "Caleb, I would love to, but Olivia can't be traveling yet." I tell him.

He nods and talks with her again. "Mom, we can't go." He says. "Because Hanna just had a baby, and she can't travel yet. She's only 4 days old." He says. "Yes she's mine." "Yup, it's a girl." He says. He laughs," okay, I'll see you here soon then. Bye." He says and hangs up. "My moms coming to rosewood since we can't go over there." He says. I smile. "That's great Caleb." I say.

I look down at Olivia who is looking up at us. "Come on princess." He says and holds her. I sit on the couch and watch them. I smile. I take a picture and Caleb looks at me. "Did you jut take a picture?" He asks. "Yeah. I mean I have to. This is a sweet moment." I say. "It is." He says.

She starts to cry. I grab her from Caleb. "She's most likely hungry." I say before going into the room and feeding her.

After I'm done, I take her to our bedroom and lay down. I lay her down next to me. She had her pacifier in her mouth. I smiled and looked at her. She was drifting off to sleep. "What you doing Han?" Caleb asks. "Looking at Liv. She's falling asleep." I say and look over at him.

I look back at Olivia. Caleb walks over to us and smiles. "My girls. You two are perfect." He says. I smile. "Are you going to come lay down?" I ask. "Yeah." He says.

He walks over to the bed and lays down. I look at him. He leans down and kisses me. "I love you Han." "I love you too Caleb." I say. "We love you too Olivia." We say and kiss her head.

I can feel myself falling asleep again.

I had another one of those dreams.

~~Flashback~~
I was 9 years old. I was hiding in my closet. I was crying and I had my teddy bear with me.

Mom and dad were fighting again.

"TOM I TOLD YOU TO STOP DRINKING BUT YOU DIDNT!!"
"BECAUSE I NEVER GET TO DRINK WOMAN. YOU NEVER LET ME DRINK."
"WELL BECAUSE YOU ALWAYS GET DRUNK AND SCARE HANNA."

I hated it when they fought. I was crying my little eyes out when I heard a voice. It was my mom. "Hanna, baby lets go pack your stuff. We are going to sleep somewhere else tonight, okay?" My mom asks. I nod. "Okay mommy." I say. "Hanna, it okay baby girl. Nothing is going to happen, okay?" I ask. "Yeah, okay." I say.
