My New Home

Chapter 1: It Goes Wrong

My name is Spark. I'm seventeen year old teenage girl, who happens to be a scientist, but as an assistant to my father. His name is Professor Dave, my dad is a high intelligent scientist and advance lab. All I get to do is watch and help around the lab instead of experimenting anything, but my dad tells me every facts about science and I it would be great if I know everything about science when I'm a Professior. Even my curiousity s getting in the way and I try to stay focus what's so important, but it's great to have a dad to comfort you. Anyway, I'm starting to do something very exciting and it's gonna be awesome. YAY!!!

I'm at my dad's lab, looking over the notes about the machine that dad built. It is very interesting, because it's says "Parallel Machine" which means a different dimension. I wanna test it out and to see it for myself. I went to see it, but then my best friend Raven blocked my path, her long dirty blonde hair covering her right blue eye. She had her hand on her hip and one hanging, she always had her great smile to cheer me up. But she looked at me serious, I was about to say something, but she cut me off "I know what your gonna do and I wouldn't let my bestie go by herself" she said, before I could say anything. I nod and went to the rght side of the door, went inside a room, a big room. I see the machine and I could see a big clean window and the other side I see lots of buttons and I could hear them beep. Our footsteps echo every time we walked to the machine. I could see a red button flashing and I went to it. My curiousity is over whelming me and my hand moved slowly, slowly, and slowly I was few inches close to touch it, and... I press the button. It turned on and it open a portal to the center. I could tell Raven has her eyes wide open and me... well... surprisingly shocked that it worked. We both backed away to not let ourselves get into that portal.

Pop!!!

I heard a popping sound and it looked like it was coming from the machine. I saw an electricity around it, then...

BOOM!!!

We heard a big boom from the machine and the portal grew bigger and bigger. And the walls started to detacted and getting sucked into that portal. I heard yelling from the other side and I looked to see... dad. Oh boy, I'm in so much trouble! I could tell he's telling us to get out of there, but the portal is too strong and we could feel our feet sliding. Raven grabbed my arm and pull me hard as she can away from the portal while my dad was pressing buttons to disable the machine. Then I could feel myself floating and so is Raven.

WE'RE GETTING SUNK IN!!!

Then I yelled my dad to hurry, but then... it was too late we got sucked in and I could tell my dad shut it off. I can't believe this! This is my fault! And my dad's machine have been incomplete! How long is this gonna take and how are we going to get back home?!
