Chapter 1

"Hello everyone and welcome to the 1st annual, Fandom Games!" Everyone cheers as the lady with the crazy hair walks over to the bowls which decide my fate.
I am Raini Evans. I am fifteen years old and I live in district four, Gryffindor. Everyone here thinks they are all that because they are "brave". I let them keep thinking that.
Everyone here is a fictional character from a worldwide famous book, except for me! I often feel left out, but that's okay because I have some awesome friends.
My best friend is Maximum ride. She is tough and the girl has wings! She has a lot of siblings(all adopted) and they are all orphans so a lot of the time I have to take care of them.
My other best friend is Harry Potter. He's a wizard which is completely amazing! I mean I would give anything to be a wizard! I would even give a weeks worth of food! Ok maybe not that, but you get what I mean.
Anyways, the government decided to have a fandom games! Yippee!(note my sarcasm) Ugh! I'm really mad right now! I don't even get the point of doing a fandom games.
A fandom games is where the government draws fictional characters to kill each other in an arena. Wow! Doesn't that sound fun? Well let's get back to the reaping.
"Let's start with the girls!" A lady from the Capitol calls out. She picks up a single slip of paper and unfolds it. "And the girl tribute from district 4 in the first fandom games is......*Pause for effect.* Raini Evans!"
Everyone turns to look back at me. I roll my eyes. Ugh, typical. I walk confidently onto the stage trying to hide my fear that is swelling up inside of me.
The lady with the green hair walks over to the bowl identical to the girls. " Now for the boys!" Go green lady draws another slip of paper except out of the boys bowl this time. "And the boy tribute from district 4 in the first fandom games is....... Tobias Eaton!"
My mouth drops open as I stare out into the crowd in horror. A guy who looks about eighteen smiles brightly and runs up onto the stage. Oh gosh, not this guy!
This guy was the most popular guy at my school. He was also the most idiotic guy at my school. This was going to be a long fandom games.
