Ok. Let's review what's going on. My phone is left at home, the door was locked, I missed the bus and got a detention. What else, wait no. I am not jinxing what already happened. And if you can't tell. Yes I did save the earth. Well I walk into my classroom and nobody's there. Then it hit me. There was a school field trip today. Dang it. Again something bad. "Well at least the football tryouts are today" I said sadly. I waited at the office doing crossword puzzle. Then I saw a man walking towards the door. He walks in and I'm checking Instagram and playing Madden Mobile on my tablet. He then looks at me for at least a minute until I broke the silence. "What are you looking at?" I said confused. He replied "A young man disrespecting an elder." "Whatever" I said sarcastically. All of a sudden I felt like 20 pounds of lead was dropped into my stomach. The guiltieness was real. I look back up only to see something bad. Something I didn't see due to my anger blinding me. It was my dad. Uh oh. I started saying "Sorry I didn't mean it I didn't know it was you." Then he just simply said. "I'm disappointed in you son. I taught you better than that." You know the feeling of you getting hurt really bad like a heartburn? Well that's the felling I get when my parents say the to me. We hopped in the car and I knew I was going to be punished BIG TIME!! He looked at me and said "Give me your phone." "I don't have it. It's at the house." "Ok you have some chores to do." Usually when my parents say that they mean I have to do the entire house. Every nook and cranny there is has to be clean. For me it's not so much because I'm used to it now but before it was like torture. None of my words can explain it. No feeling can measure up to that until now.
