Chapter Seven

Stiles-

After the little incident at school, I went to the hospital to see Melissa.

"The doctor is out at the moment stiles, do you want to wait for the on call doctor?"

I couldn't even answer, my hands were shaking, and a rushlp of anxiety fell over me.

"Stiles. Are you okay?" I shook my head, "Yea..n-no not really.." She came out from the desk and led me down the hall.

"It's gonna be Stiles. It's okay."

She led me in a room and I sat down.

"Can you tell me what's going on?"

"I-I been having a few panic attacks here and there, I can't read a thing but that may be from this big magical tree... Ya know sacrificing ourselves."

She chuckled, "I vaguely remember something like that yes."

"I have thes-these nightmares, where I have to scream myself awake, and I never know if I'm dreaming or not.."

"Okay, how many hours of sleep are you getting?"

I looked down. "Eight"

"A night?"

I looked Melissa right I. The eye, "In the past three days." She looked at me shocked, then started asking more questions,

"Have you been feeling confused?"

"All the time"

"Irritable?"

"To the point of homicide.."
I stated answering honestly.

"Noticeable change in personality?"

"More than my normal self...maybe."

"Vivid dreams during the day?"

"Yes basically all if the above? Okay?" I paused as she walked to a counter getting something, "Do you know what it is?"

"Yes I do, you sir are one severely sleep deprived teenager." She injected a shot in my arm. "What is it?" "A sedative."

"Why did you give me a sedative?"

She smiled at me as she pushed me back and my started drooping. "You need rest, get some sleep stiles."

I closed my eyes and subconsciously said, "Thanks mom..."

And I was out.

Derek's POV-

We were all protecting Scott and Kira through the night, Agent McCall was stabbed by one of the Oni, and Melissa was tending to him.

The Oni had broken the mountain ash barrier, and did the same thing to them as they did the rest if us. A backwards five behind each of there ears.

Scott shakily for up along with Kira. "Its none of us, that's a good sign, right?" Aiden said. I shook my head, "Who else is there-" Ethan cut himself off.

"What is it?" Me and Scott said at the same time.

He said nothing but when me and him were alone he spoke up, "Derek, I over heard Scott's and Stiles' conversation he said, the message on the board was in his handwriting. And a key that went to the closet burrol was hiding in.."

He trailed off, "you think Stiles,
Skinny,
Defenseless,
Stiles,
Is the nogitsune?
Why go after him why not someone bigger, better, with more...." I paused my eyes widening, "...power."

Stiles' POV-

I had woken up and searched for Melissa, I pushed open a pair of double doors as I walked through I kept going until.

I heard a noise behind me, I spun around seeing things dressed in black robes and a black silver mask, black mist was coming from them.

I turned to run and saw another. It's eyes glowed a bright green yellow...like a firefly. I felt anger bubble up in me, and I felt as if I wasn't in control.

It's hand moved to the side of my face, and I grabbed its hand tight, and stared in its eyes, my other shot in its chest, and pulled back out.

It turned to dust as I opened my hand shakily and slowly, and firefly sat in my hand weakly glowing.

I lost control once again, 'what the hell is happening?'

I turned around and look at the other two as they ran towards me I did the same thing to them as I did the first one. 

Scott opened the door right after that. I lost memory of what happened.

"Stiles? Are you okay?"

"Yea...M'fine" he nodded,
"Alright come man let's go."

We left but I felt as if I was being watched by something.
