Chapter 9 : Are you okay?

Dina POV

I was still home alone and hope Jina won't be back but I was wrong. I was in the kitchen taking myself a drink and I felt someone tapped on my shoulder.

I turn around and got slapped hard. It's hard enough to get a bruise because of a sudden act I got hard breathing that means my sickness is back.

"Stay away from him or you will get yourself ugly in school." Jina threaten. I can't really breath well so I went back to my room and get some rest then I drift myself to sleep with tears.

"It happens." I whisper in my sleep.

The next morning I woke up I still didn't feel well so I decide not to go to school. I stand up from my bed and went to the mirror I saw bruise on the place I got slapped.

"I knew it." I sigh. I went down and have my breakfast lucky Jina went out early.

Suddenly my phone ring; it was Mark so I picked up. "Where are you?" he ask like he is very worried. "S-sorry, I'm not w-well." I said cause of the breathing problem I can't really talk it makes it hard for me to talk. "Where are you?" he ask. "H-home." I said. "Stay I will be over." He said and hang up.

Mark POV

I have waited almost an hour and the class is starting soon.

So I decided to call. "Where are you?" I ask very worried. "S-sorry, I'm not w-well." she said in a weak voice and like it's hard for her to talk. "Where are you?" I ask. "H-home." She said. "Stay I will be over." I said and hang up.

I texted Jr. to help me to excuse and rush to Dina house. I was in front of her house and I started to knock.

Few minutes later the door opened. Dina was standing in front of me but there was bruise on her face.

I reach out my hand and caress her face "Did she do that to you?" I ask. She was just quiet. "Dina... you promise." I said .

Then she nodded and her eyes started to get teary. We stepped inside her house and I pulled her into a hug and she cry in my arms. "I'm here don't worry baby." I said circling her back and she hug me tighter.

Few minutes later we broke the hug. "What happen to your voice?" I ask. She slipped out her phone and started to type 'sorry, I can't really talk I have breathing problem. Because of last night's act I got provoke and my illness is back that cause me hard to talk' after I read I nodded.

This makes me want to keep her. "Don't distance me in school."I said. I know she already decide. She look down and hesitate to answer.

"Dina baby... if you are going to distance me I will be hanging around." I threaten. She finally nodded. "Let's get some rest." I said and brought her to her bed room. I put her to sleep and I was looking at her angelic face. How could she be so beautiful.
