In this arid desert
The sun blisters
And I walk weak and weary
Thinking of today as it took a toll
But I walk, in this desert, to her
My dear, hotter than the sun she is
Sometimes just as brutal
But oh how I soak her in
Every smile is a beam of light
Vitamin D streaming from her radiant face
The ground is dry and my blood boils but her touch is a waterfall that cools my whole body
She is the light in my life, if it not be to much of a clique
And also the rock that keeps me, body and mind, tethered to this world
She is the sun
She is the sky
She is my world
