Chapter 6

A/N:I think I'm gonna change the title because I don't know how I'm going to put Fred and George as a major role in the story but I will think it over maybe and let you know next chapter. I really hope that you guys that are reading actually like my story hehe. I might only be able to post every couple of days because I'm moving house and my dad broke his leg great timing I know. So yeah also when I saw that people were reading this I got really excited and THANK YOU so yeah on with the story...
I woke up to a beeping coming from my watch, it was seven thirty. Groaning I get up to see everyone else still asleep. I get up and decide to try the bath. I bring my cloths and an older student, well the only other student up at this ungodly time, especially when classes don't start until nine, well she showed me how to use the Olympic sized tub. It has heaps of taps running down the sides which produced different scents and bubbles and colored water. I put on one that emitted bubbles and one that had strawberry scented water and filled up a part of the tub. I just realized how weird that sounded. The tub is split into heaps of mini tubs so you can chose the scent and stiff and not bathe with a total stranger. After a couple of minutes Lavender came in and wasn't the least bit surprised by the Taos, instead she climbed in with me and asked to turn on the pale pink water, which I said was fine. After ten minutes I got out and dried myself with a spray from the bathroom cupboard and dried my hair with the comb. I got changed into my robes and checked my schedule for today's classes.
Tuesday:
9-10am Charms
10-11am History of Magic(HOM)
11-11:30am Lunch
11:30-12:30pm English
12:30-1pm Recess
1-2pm Defense Against The Dark Arts(DATDA)
1-3pm Potions
Flipping the sheet over I read who I had the new classes with:
Charms-Ravenclaw
HOM-Hufflepuff
English-Ravenclaw
DATDA-Ravenclaw
I noticed that I had a lot of classes with the Ravenclaws and hoped that we would become friends like with the Slytherin girls.
I packed my books for the classes that I would have today and walked down to the common room. I saw Ron sitting in a chair next to the fire with Dean so I walked over and said hello
"Oh hey, Harriet" Dean said patting the seat next to him. I sat where he indicated and placed my bag at my feet. "Do you guys have the same classes as me?" I asked them, not remembering if we had checked.
"Yeah, Hermione and I checked yesterday" Ron said blushing a little.
Dean and I laughed a bit which made Ron go even redder, to be truthful it put his hair to shame;)
We started talking again until too familiar red heads came ambulance down the boys stairs.
"Fred, George!" I shouted calling them over. They lifted me and moved me over so here was space for them to sit on either side of me, which was a tad embarrassing for Dean and I.
"Hey Harriet"
"How's Hogwarts going?"
"Got any friends?"
"Learn anything?"
They said in really quick succession.
Before I could say anything they continued.
"Wanna come et breakfast with us?" They asked again not waiting for a response, instead on picked my bag up and the other picked me up.
It took me a second to realize what was going on but as soon as I did I started shouting for Dean and Ron to help me, but the just bent over laughing, they were going to pay. There were also heaps of older kids laughing at us, so not helpful.
They carried me the whole way to the Great Hall despite my yelling and struggling, about halfway there I kind of gave up and stopped fighting them, only saying please when we passed someone. They sat me down at our table and by this point many people had laughed at me, ugh
"Why?" I asked with a bright smile.
"Because you would've said no" one of the twins replied.
"I want a bacon and sauce sandwich" I tell the one that didn't speak.
"What am I your slave?" He asked annoyed, although he did get me the sandwich.
"Yep, you carry me around and bring me food" I tell him digging into my sandwich.
They both grin down at me while I eat and half way through I decide it's gone over the boarder of creepy and into stalkervile.
"What?" I ask looking up at them.
"Nothing" they both say together.
Weird.
"Did you wanna talk about something?" I ask them.
"..."
I decide to keep eating but a bird, no wait, my owl, Hedwig, swoops down to the table and I let out a startled yelp. She eats the rest of my sandwich much to my annoyance. I notice a letter tied to her leg and I say, "What on Earth is that doing there?" Fred then explains about mail in the wizarding world while George unties the letter from my bird.
After Fred and George both finish I tell Hedwig that I'll just her on Thursday night and she coos before flying away. I notice that on my map a path to the owlery has appeared so I write in my homework diary my plan for Thursday.
I talk to Fred and George some more and they tell me about their pranks and growing up to be a wizard and knowing it. They had some great stories about flying and the gnomes that live in their garden.
When they asked about my family I told them with out hesitation because I never thought of what my life was like as wrong, although the brothers were completely taken aback when I answered their questions, I didn't understand why.
We talked for around 2 hours before the bell rang, and I hurried of to my first class of the day, Charms. When I got there the door was opened and I sat down next to a Ravenclaw boy. We had to work in partners for the last half the lesson to talk about charms and what we believed it wound cover, so I found out the boys name was Daniel. I told him I was Harriet and he smiles at me. He had dark hair and really light blue eyes. He asked if I wanted to sit with him outside for lunch and I said sure. It's so cool making friends!
We worked and I was surprised when he took the same amounts of notes as me, although we did have to go through the pen thing again. After class I told Daniel I'd meet him at the Great Hall for lunch and he agreed. I went to my next class.
We had History of Magic and I was the only one who didn't fall asleep or get board, I found it extremely interesting and Professor Binns was extremely pleased with my active note taking.
By lunch we had a chapter to take notes on for charms and three chapters to read for next lesson in HOM. I decided to skip my homework at lunch because I was going outside with Daniel.
I met him at the gate and Fred and George wanted to come along with Daniels twin in Hufflepuff called Cedric (hehe not the Cedric).
We went out and sat next to the lake and it was really cool, although I felt I was constantly being watched by everyone. They all kept on laughing at my reactions to things. Bleh I decided that I didn't care and I stopped taking notice. I remember the letter in my bag from this morning and sigh, I still haven't had a chance to read it.
About five minutes before the end of lunch Fred asked what I was doing next break and I told him library and he said him and George would meet me there. Oh well to my letter reading time.
Next I had English and Daniel I walked there together. We didn't sit next to each other though as there was assigned seating and I sat next to Lucy from Griffindoor. We had heaps of fun writing a story together, as we had to work in partners, and we were the first to finish. Our homework for English was to write a story. Great!
I then met FandG(as I'm now calling them because I'm lazy) and I finished my Charms homework and chatted with them for ages.
We then had DATDA and the only eventful thing that happened was my scar hurting. We had to right up a chapter review on chapter two about some dangerous creature ready for our next lesson. After that we had potions and we actually made our first potion! Mine turned out ok and I got praise from Snape. We then were told that we had until next Monday to write a report on what the affects of this potion could have been if we had gotten it wrong. Finally class was over and I headed to the common room and sat with FandG and we did homework together. I looked at my schedule and noted that I had a free period first thing tomorrow, nice.
I did all this stuff and nothing new happened till Friday. I also became close friends with Fred, George, Carry, Daniel, Ron, dean and the girls in my dorm. I had talked to Daniels twin a couple of times but he doesn't speak to me in class.
A/N: I don't really know about that last bit but oh well I was trying to make a cliff hanger but yeah I suck so...
