Brown, white, black, small, big, with dots, with stripes, everything you can imagine. How can you choose? Yes, today is the day me and Demi are getting a puppy together. Why? First of all I always wanted one but my mom is scared of dogs since she was bitten by one in her childhood, so I surely wasn’t allowed to, but I don’t live at home anymore. The second reason is that I want to show Demi that I can be responsible for “someone”. Zayn told me this is important to know for women and will help to keep up the relationship since they can be sure the man will be able to take care of a child someday.

This morning we went to an animal home and now we are making a tour through this facility. “They are all so cute but till now there wasn’t one where I felt sparks.” Demi said walking past the cages. “You don’t feel sparks for one in this animal home right now?” I asked looking at her. She turned to look at me, confused about my question, but nodded. “Yeah, as I said it.”

“If you feel like that, I think it’s better to end our relationship.” I said pretending to be sad. She first looked at me a bit shocked but then started laughing, the laugh I learned to love so much. Demi came over to me and pecked my lips. “You are an idiot.” she said slightly laughing. “But you still love me.” I answered before pulling Demi closer to kiss her. She kissed back and I felt how the butterflies erupted in my stomach, like always. Every kiss with Demi was so special, I don’t know if I’ll ever have enough of her. Probably not, but I think that’s okay. Suddenly I felt something pulling on my jeans. I broke the kiss and looked down, only to see a little brown – white puppy looking up at me with big brown eyes. It probably sounds cheesy but it was love at first sight. I couldn’t help but smile at the sight of this little adorable animal being. And Demi obviously felt the same way since she got down on her knees and started stroking him with the brightest smile on her face.

“Casper, come here! Casper! Where are you, c’mon, I’ve got delicious food for you!” a voice suddenly shouted. I looked up to see a woman come round the corner. Her eyes lit up as she saw us with the puppy. “Gosh, thanks for catching him, he always runs away.” The woman said. He? Oh, I guess our little friend here is called Casper. I looked at the puppy again and had to admit that the name matched perfectly. “We didn’t catch him. We were just walking around and he came to us.” Demi said looking up to the woman, still smiling. “Oh really? That’s strange. Casper is actually pretty shy towards strangers. You two seem to smell good or something.” She said, trying to be funny. Well, she failed, but she wasn’t a comedian, so it was okay. “Is it possible to adopt Casper? “ I asked her instead of laughing. Demi looked at me smiling, obviously also liking the idea. “Yes, of course. Casper came here two weeks ago, he was found on a service plaza in a little cardboard box. He is inoculated, house trained and healthy. The only problem is that Casper, since he is here, runs away almost every day. I guess he wants to explore everything, so it would be great if he can live in a house with a big garden” the woman answered. I nodded and then got down on my knees. I started to stroke Casper and he looked at me. “Hey, I’m Niall. And that beautiful woman beside me is Demi. Would you like to come with us, Casper?” I said quietly. Casper stared at me the whole time I spoke, straining his ears. After I finished he started barking, jumping a bit on us. It seemed like he understood me. I looked at Demi to see her reaction, but she was still focused on Casper. I leant over to her and whispered: “Don’t you think Casper Horan or Lovato sounds pretty good?”. She looked at me smiling and nodded. A smile formed on my face as I stood up and said: ”We would like to take him with us.”

The woman nodded smiling. “Of course. Someone please just come with me to sign some documents.” I turned to Demi. “I’ll go. You can already take him to the car, if you want.” She agreed and 5 minutes later I left the office of the animal home and went to the car. “I thought it would take us longer.” She said as she saw me. “Yeah, I did too. But Casper made the decision very easy. Just one look with his big brown eyes and I was in love. “ I admitted smiling. “You seem to like brown eyes.” Demi determined, slightly chuckling. “Yeah, I obviously do” I said pulling her into a kiss. Just a second later our new “family member” started barking. “Uh, someone is jealous.” Demi said giggling.

We got into the car and drove home, we drove into a new life with a little puppy.
