Chapter 1

~Amara~

Im now 26 years old and I have 2 kids, Hayden and Paisley.

Hayden is now 6 and Paisley is 3

Denis has been on tour for about 2 months and I barely hear from him. We live in California now in a littlw beach house

"Mommy im hungry." Hayden said to me jumping up and down

I sighed and said "i know baby get dressed for school and ill get a bowl of cereal for you."

He smiled and i helped him get dressed before getting him cereal

"Wheres paisley?" He asked me

"Shes sleeping still bud, dont be to loud."

I walked upstairs and changed into leggings and a sweater throwing my hair in a bun

I walked into Paisley's room to see her sound asleep

I walked back downstairs and cleaned up Haydens mess

"Come here." I said go hayden and fixed his hair

"Mommy i miss daddy."

I felt my smile fade and i got on my knees and said "i know buddie but mommy is never going anywhere but i do have work soon so we gotta get you to school."

He smiled and i hugged him tight

"Go get in the car and buckle up bjt first put your coat on!"

He sighed and i watched him out on his coat and hat

I went upstairs and woke up Paisley

She started to groan and i said "come on baby girl your going to uncle Bens while i work, leave you pjs on and ill get your coat."

I lifted her out of her tiny bed and put a coat on her along with boots

I picked her up and carried her down into the car

"Mom i tired." Pasiley complained

I groaned and said "i know sweetheart."

I pulled up to elementary school and gave Hayden hugs and kisses "have a good day sweetie, ill be here for you after."

I drove off to Ben and Sams. They have 3 kids Tyler, Anna, and Carter well 2 because Anna is Hannahs baby.

I knocked on the door with Paisley in my hand "hey amara." Sam said when she opened the door.

I smiled and put paisley down and she ran in to play with the other kids

"How are you?" I asked

"Im fine, just sick of doing it on my own."

I sighed and said "i know sam i feel the same, well i gotta get to work ill get her later."

Sam hugged me bye and i left

I am really missing Denis

He hasnt talked to me in 3 weeks maybe hes just to busy to check on his wife or children

Our marriage was perfect until a few months ago hes been touring and when hes home hes distant and doesnt even pay attention to me.

I feel like im in a different part of his life.

I wiped the tears away and went to work, im a nurse.

~Denis~

I grabbed her back and pressed into her hard. I grabbed her bright blonde hair and pulled it back a little and moans escaped her mouth

I pulled out and she got off of her knees and collapsed in my bunk

I pushed her away and said "grab your stuff and leave."

She looked extremely dissapointed but she got changed and walked away.

I pulled my boxers on and walked out "denis you cant keep doing this!! You have a family at home for fuck sake!" Ben yelled at me

I walked into the lounge and slammed the door

I sat on the couch and unlocked my phone to a picture of Amara in my arms

I threw my phone at the ground and punched the wall

Im screwing everything up. Marriage, it tears you apart

We went to italy for our honey moon and things were great until a couple months ago.

Im never home. Always stressed. Depressed, i dont have time for a family right now.

I know what im doing is wrong but i have no choice

But i go home in a few days and im not ready to face her.

I just got home with the kids and pit cartoons on as i made spaghetti for them

"Babys supper is done!"

Hayden came running in and paisleys little legs followed

I giggled and set a plate for Hayden at the table and put Paisley in her highchair

"Mommy dad comes home soon!" Paisley yelled

I raised my eyebrows and she said "Aunty Sam told me!"

I giggled and got a plate of food myself and ate with my 2 children....my life.
