After Dawn

Chapter 1

Sam opened her eyes. One week had passed after her and her friends were rescued from 'Blackwood Pines'. Not all of them were though. There was still no sign of Josh.
She told the police to go to the mines. They all told the police a lot. But the police didn't believe the story of the wendigos. They thought the group was just shocked and scared. But it was true. She knew it. They all knew it was true. She also knew that one day the police will go into the mines because Josh would still be missing. But until that happened he'll already be dead. Or he was already. At this though Sam bit her lip and clawed her blanket.
"I can't stand not doing anything while Josh might be starving..." she whispers to herself standing up.
But if she would master to break out of the hospital, what was she supposed to do then?
'I have to go to the mines!' She thought. This thought was crazy but her only idea. 'Josh does not deserve to die!'
She stood up. Something in her had told her he was not dead.
Suddently the door opened. A doctor came in. He had a Bag in his hand. Her bag!
"Miss. You should stay in bed." He said calmly.
"What's that?" Sam said ignoring what he said.
"Miss Ash said it was your bag."
"Yes...yes it is. The police took it." She said absently.
The doc put the bag next to the bed and told Sam again to go to bed.
Sam nod and laid down. "When will I come out of this?" She said with a trembling voice.
"In about 2 weeks."
"That's too late." Her voice got louder.
"I am sorry. There is no other way. Tomorrow the psychiatrist will come."
"I said a million times I don't need one!" She said even louder.
The doctor apologized again and, before Sam could say anything else, he walked out of the room.

"Please!" Ashley screamed. "Please let me see him and I am sure-" her voice changed into a whimer. "Please" she whispered. "Please."
She was unstable so she was under control. A doctor inmediatly came into her room.
She kept and kept asking for him.
"Who do you want to see?" The doctor asked slowly.
"All of them! Chris! Pleasee. Is he alive? Please tell me he is..."
"Chris? Christopher? The one who was with you in the lodge?" He asked.
"Yes." She seemed to calm down. "Please." She repeated.
Since she was very unstable and nothing seemed to help her the doctors decided to bring Chris to her room.

Sam was quiet sure that she wasn't standing under observation so, after the doctors who were planed for today were away, she stood up again. She wasn't feeling unstable. From the outside. She wasn't sure about her feelings.
She grabed her bag and looked into it. Inside there was a lamp, a jacket, a half filled waterbotle, some money, a book and some unimportant other stuff.
She took all the little things she won't need, also the book, and put it under the bed. She put the jacket on and shouldered her bag. She grabed her Boots wich were standin next to the bed and put them on. She had this planed in her head since she came into this hospital.
Should she look for Chris or anybody who could go with her? No. Everybody was sane, she didn't want to get them in trouble. This was her plan and she would go alone and hopefully come back with Josh. But Josh was ill, he was depressed, he was going insane the last time they saw him. So now it should be worse. How would she get him out there?
She went to the door, opened it slowly and looked outside. Only one doctor was on the short floor. He didn't see her. she went into her room again and closed the door. Then she walked to the window and opened it. Her room was on the first floor so she could jump.
"I can do this..." she whispered climbing onto the window. One second she closed her eyes and then she jumped.
The impact on the floor hurted her feet but she looked around and started running. Nobody would notice she was away till the night so she had time to escape. Out of sight of the hospital she moved more slowly.
The first thing she had to do was to buy a sirt and jeans because she was still wearing the clothes from the hospital with only her jacket over it. She ran into the next shop trying to hide her clothes a bit so that nobody would wonder. In the shop she grabed a cheap shirt and a cheap blue jeans. She had to spend 20 dollars on that so had only left 40. After paying she put the clothes on. Afterwards she buyed some food for 10 $ and then ran to the nearest bus station.
"A ticket to Blackwood pines please." she said to the driver.
"Blackwood pines? The washington Lodge is closed by the police."
"I know." she said giving him 15 $.
"Allright..." the driver mumbled taking the money and giving her a ticket.
"Thank you." Sam moved through the bus and sat down on the first seat she sees emty.
'The trip will take about half an hour' she tought looking at the watch at the begining of the bus - 18:04.

"I was here one friking week! I am perfectly okay and if you don't let me out of this I-"
"I am sorry miss, if the doctors say you need to stay here, I can't help you."
Emily was disgusing with the secretary of the hospital after she had broken out of her room.
"Then tell the doctors they should let me the fuck-" suddently a Hand rested on Emilys shoulder. "Don't dare to touch me!" she screemed after turing and seeing a doctor.
Two doctors took her arms and brang her back to her room (under her protest).
On the way she passed by Mike and Jess. A doctor followed. Mike had his arm around Jessica who looked quite tired.
Mike and Jess were going to a room where they would be investigated to know how they are doing. Luckily the doctor let them go together.
Emily didn't know how to react. Obviously she was glad to see them alive but after passing them she also felt happines to see Jess, even if she was a bitch in her eyes. Suddently she remembered the old times were she and Jess were still kind of best friends. 'That bitch is going out with your ex, so forget the positiv shit' she thought before entering her room.

This story will probably not continue.
