Aphmau's POV

I awake and I was on my way to seeing Garroth, but Brian comes running up to me.

"Lady Aphmau! Cadenza wishes to see you immediately!"

"I thought she was ill?"

"She is completely recovered! But she needs to talk to you urgently!"

"Thank you Brian, I'll head there immediately!" I runned to Cadenza's place. I go down the stairs, and she was sitting in a chair, she looked really sad. "Cadenza what's wrong?"

"Aphmau, my father, in Meteli, he was murdered." (comment if u cri evrytim ;-;)

"Cadenza, I'm really sorry."

"I'm a horrible daughter, I should've been there."

"Cadenza, it's not your fault."

"Aphmau, would you mind talking me to Meteli? To see him?"

"Of course Cadenza."

"Thank you, I'll be ready in an hour." I walked out of her house, on my way to pack I see Laurance and Garroth talking.

"Hey guys."

"Lady Aphmau, why so sad? said Garroth.

"Oh, it's just I'm going to Meteli, um, Cadenza's father, he was, *cough* murdered."

"Hayden? No! He couldn't!" Laurance said.

"Um yeah, we're leaving in about an hour."

"I'll come with, Hayden was like a father to me."

"Ok, if you wish." He left to say bye to Alexandrite I suppose.

"Aphmau, I'm very sorry about Cadenza's father but I'm afraid I cannot come with, if I leave it's most obvious Katelyn would take over."

"Oh, if you must."

"I wish you safe travels." I gave him a kiss. After that, I went to pack.

Alexandrite's POV

I was playing chess with my guards, he said he wanted to play so I was playing with him. Someone opened my door.

"Oh hey Laurance." I stood up and gave him a kiss.

"Hey babe, I came to say goodbye I'm going to my home village Meteli for a few days to solve a murder mystery."

"What? Who was murdered?"

"My childhood's friend's father."

"Oh, may he rest in peace, who's coming with you?"

"Aphmau."

"Oh ok, be safe babe." I kissed him and he left, I finished my chess game, and I kinda wanted to go on a mini vacation by my self, I wanted to go to O'khasis, I know they're at war with Scaleswind, but I'm only going to the forest so it shouldn't be a problem, I wanted to go because, my mom, before she passed, she took us all the time to O'khasis to pick out some Pinkaberries for her pinkaberry delight cookies. And also me and Damian had a love for sword fight, my father built us a training station in a cavern in O'khasis, I wanted to visit, I figured I would tell Garroth because I was probably was gonna be gone for a few days, I packed a few things, and I put a sign on my door.

Out in O'khasis, don't come looking for me, I'm fine.

I found Garroth in the plaza, walking around.

"Hey Garroth!"

"Alexandrite, how can I help you?"

"I wanted to tell you I'm going on a little retreat!"

"Where to?"

"O'khasis!"

"....."

"Uh, you okay?"

"Why t-there?"

"For some berries, that we're only grown there!"

"Um, O'khasis is at war with with Scaleswind, if you didn't know."

"I'm going to the forest so I'm ok."

"I don't know if I should let you..."

"Come on Garroth! Please!!!!!!!!!!"

"Fine, but stay out of trouble."

"Thanks Garroth you're the best!" I gave him a hug, and dashed to the docks. I really didn't have the patience to walk. So i just teleported. #hacksmuch?

Laurance's POV

We were ready to go, Cadenza was on a lasso, Cadenza was talking, I was just thinking of Hayden, me and Aphmau decided to start our investigation plan, she told me that she would look in his house she came out 5 minutes later with a chicken feather, I immediately thought, the Chicken Shaman. We would go out for him tomorrow but we needed to look further into detail.
