It was a Thursday & I walked into work late at RoofTop Coffee Shop . NYC traffic is a bitch . I scanned the room for my boss silently praying that puta wasn't here today . While looking my icy grey eyes met a creamy hazel stare of a majorly attractive man.
"Jesus ?!" I accidentally said , the sexy stranger rose a perfect eyebrow at me & chuckled . God am I a fuck up ! I felt heat rise to my cheeks as I quickly ran to the back of the café.
"Bitch you good ?" My best friend / coworker Anita Coleman curiously asked me as I stumbled towards her . "There is a man outside & I called him Jesus" I mumbled . She busted of laughing "you dumbass ! Anyway I made cookies you want one ?" "Duh" I playfully rolled my eyes at her & grabbed the delicious chocolate snack .
"Um... Hey Daya ?" Andrew came up & asked "yeah ?" I boredly replied "table 17 & 23 " he squeaked out . Poor kid is a scrawny 16 y/o trying to save up for college , so he is a little intimidated by me & Anita . "Okay" I gave him a small smile & grabbed my notebook and pen.
As I walked to table 17 I saw a bunch of teen girls & rolled my eyes . "Hi my name is Daya how may I help you this afternoon?" I fakely smiled at the group of girls . "Um like we'd all like a um pumpkin spice latte except Jena she has a um like allergy to pumpkin so she wants a um caramel macchiato" said a girl with obviously dyed blonde hair . I had to stop myself from rolling my eyes. "Alright coming right up" I said turning away to give Anita the order & head over to table 23.
When I looked over at table 23 I saw the beautiful man I called Jesus "oh no!" I moaned then slowly walked over "welcome to RoofTop Coffee Shop I'm Daya what can I do for you ?" I squeaked at this God of a man . Hey I get nervous too ! He lightly chuckled " Well Daya ,I'd like a hazelnut coffee with a bagel with cinnamon cream cheese" "um okay it'll be out soon" I quickly said & rushed away from the flaming hot human who drinks coffee same color of his eyes .
"Nita! The hottie was at one of my tables !" "You mean Jesus?" She giggled , I rolled my eyes "shut up! Something about his aura makes my aura shy & weird as fuck! I don't even know bruhh!!! " I groaned "Chill babes you don't even know the guy & you're acting like you've been dating for a week " she laughed "okay you're right" " I know I am , here is his order go ask for his name" she smiled at me & as I turned away she slapped my ass.
"Sway them hips baby doll!!" She called
