Forever (Fairy Tail: Laxus X Reader)

          You and Laxus have known each other for a rather long time. You both we're an amazing team together, and even though he didn't show affection towards anything, he made sure to let you know that you both we're rather close friends. You felt something for Laxus, even if he did act like an asshole, and you wanted to be more than just friends. Ever since you met him...

*Flashback*

          Lost...you were lost. You ran around in panic, your little 5-year old eyes overflowing with tears. You called out for the ones that were supposed to take care of you, and to love you, but they didn't because you were a mage, a powerful mage, so powerful that it scared your non-wizard parents. "Mama! Papa!" Little did you know they were trying to get rid of you in the first place. The classic Hansel and Gretel way too. They were trying to 'loose' you in the forest that they were going to.  The busy streets crowded, over populated with travelers and citizens. You looked to your left. No parents. You look to your right. Negative. You were hopeless. You turned around and began to run. You ran. And ran. Your tears flowed through the wind. Your mind was on your parents until you bumped into another body. The impact against your fragile body made you fall back onto the hard dusty road. "Hey! What's the big ide-" You heard a child's voice say. You got on your knees, attempting to get up, while he was already up. You look up with your teary, pained eyes, and he just stared at you. He was shocked and didn't know what to do. He's never seen a girl cry and look so sad. His 7-year old mind was debating whether he should help or not. Without thinking the kid held out a hand to the girl who had just lost her parents. He pulled her up from the ground and just pulled her into a warm hug. After a few seconds, he just pulled her, leading her the way to a destination. After a couple of minutes of walking he stopped in front of a huge building with a name on the front of it "FairyTail" The boy put his hands on the big wooden doors, looked back at you and smiled before he opened the doors to this building. He looked back at you and signaled you to come in. Step. Step. Step. Step. You shyly walked into the building filled with people of all different ages. He turned around to look at you. "I'm Laxus."

*End of Flashback*

           You walked around the streets of Magnolia, a bright smile of your face. Laxus was walking next to you, looking pissed off like always. You both were just getting back from a S Class job. You looked up at the blue cloudy sky. It was nostalgic. You glanced down at the silver band on your right middle finger, it was just a plain silver band, but it was actually a seal. Carved into the inside of the band was a spell in Latin which sealed 3/4ths of my power. Even though it was only 1/4th that you had, you were just as strong as Laxus. You couldn't control your power, so Gramps made your life easier and just sealed it away. You could never take off the ring yourself, but someone else can. You were an elemental mage, Fire, Earth, Water, and Air were at your command. (AN: Ermehgerd Reader-chan is the Avatar xD) 

          "Oi, (Y/n)..." called out Laxus.  You looked up to him. "Hm?..." You answered. "I want to go that meadow you showed me a couple years ago..." he looked away but his face was still straight. You smiled and grabbed his hand. You started to run, pulling him with you. You smiled while the wind hit your face. You took a left and just ran down until you reached a forest at the end of the road. You ran through the thickness of trees with Laxus still trying to keep up behind you. You ran and ran, until you were out of the trees and into the sight of a grassy field filled with beautiful flowers. You sat down on the soft grass, and fell back laughing softly. Laxus looked at your (h/l) (h/c) hair, framing your face perfectly. Your laughter which sounded like music to his ears. That soft skin that he would love to kiss. Your beautiful eyes in which he couldn't live without. And your brightening smile which is like sun, because it illuminates his day. You both gazed into each other's eyes. "(Y/n)" he said softly. "Laxus..." He sat down and starred at the setting sun. 

          "This world is a dangerous place, filled with evil people, evil spells, black magic...but you, you give me the strength to fight..." He looked down his hair covered his eyes but you saw the tears trickling down his cheek. He grabbed my hands in his hands and held them protectively. He looked up into your eyes. "(Y/n)! I promise you that I will always protect you from this harsh world...forever!" He lightly held your face with both of his hands, and leaned into a gentle kiss. You closed your eyes as you melted into the kiss. Everything felt right between you two. He looked at you and said, "I love you." You looked at him and repeated the phrase. You laid down into the grass again and pulled Laxus down with you too. He cuddled against your smaller body and you just wrapped your arms around him, he laid his head on your chest as you rested your chin on his head, and both of you were off to dream land. 

That was great...right.
