AN - I'm getting really bad at updating again! I'm sorry! But thankyou so much if you have read Niall's Princesses because it's about 200 away from 10,000! I actually can't believe that it has got so many reads, that is incredible so thankyoooooooooou! There is a song on the side that goes with this chapter, No Name by Ryan O'Shaughnessy.
The next day seemed to drag on forever. There was no point throughout the day where I could at least just talk to Aime on my own without it seeming weird to everyone else so I simply kept quiet from her. There was nothing else I could do.
Throughout the day we walked around London and took Aime on the London Eye even though she had been on it before, as had we.
By the time we reached Oxford Street, because Louis wanted to spoil her, her eyes had lit up. It was truly adorable how excited she seemed to get. After a while of getting a few things for ourselves and then standing around waiting for Aime we had all got quite bored.
“Anyone want to go get lunch?” Harry said as we stood leaning against a wall in one of the more hidden away corners so we wouldn’t get noticed.
“I do” Liam and Niall said at the same time, both their bodies lifting off the wall slightly.
“Please don’t leave me, I love Aime but she takes forever to decide what she wants” Louis complained.
“Have fun” Niall said laughing at him only causing Louis to frown in return.
“I’m sure Zayn will stay with you both” Harry said smirking a little at me and I could telepathically tell what he was thinking and I shook my head disapprovingly at him. I ended up staying with Louis though as we trailed through more shops, going in some more than once.
“You don’t have to stay” Louis said as we waited while Aime tried on a floral jumpsuit in ZARA.
“It’s fine, honestly. I wouldn’t leave you all alone in the scary world of clothes shopping,” I said laughing as we both sighed wondering why she was taking so long even though it had only been a minute or so but after so long of waiting before every minute seemed like 10.
Eventually we joined Harry, Liam and Niall in Subway and got some food ourselves. Louis and me had literally been piled with bags and right now I hated Louis for wanting to buy Aime presents.
When we had all finished eating we just walked around a bit before going to buy some snacks and a couple of films and then headed back to the hotel where we put one of the films on.
We were halfway through the second film when I saw Aime get up to go to the toilet and I had to do something, I had to talk to her when no one else was around. A minute later I got up myself to refill the bowl in front of me with some more popcorn. I knew on her way back she’d have to walk through the kitchen that meant walking past me and that’s when I had to try and talk to her. I had no idea what I was going to say though.
“Oh hey” She said as she walked into the doorway of the kitchen and saw me waiting for the popcorn to pop in the microwave. My head snapped round to face her as soon as I heard her voice and I smiled at her.
“Hey, I was just getting some more popcorn” I said glancing back at the popcorn spinning on the little glass plate of the microwave.
“I gathered that” She said laughing a little.
“Did you have a good day today?” I asked her as I turned to face her properly.
“Yeah, thanks for staying with Louis, I know he was probably bored out his mind” She said and I laughed and nodded.
“Well you do take forever” I joked and she stuck her tongue out at me jokily back. “Oh you’re so ladylike” I said smirking and she pulled a face at me. I guessed it was meant to look annoyed or something but I couldn’t help finding it cute. Everything about her was adorable. In my mind I imagined leaning over from where I was towards her and wrapping her into my arms and hugging her tightly and telling her how cute she was and she’d most likely pull a face and disagree with me so I’d press a kiss to her lips and tell her differently. But none of that could happen; especially not after kissing her last night and saying we should forget about it.
“The popcorn done yet?” She asked obviously wanting some herself and I looked through the panel of glass to the inside of the microwave and saw most of the popcorn had popped and nodded before taking the bowl out and offering some to her.
“So I was wondering if… um…” I said before pausing. She raised an eyebrow questionably at me whilst throwing a piece of popcorn into her mouth. I stayed silent for a moment before opening my mouth. “It doesn’t matter” I mumbled regretting it straight away - I was such an idiot. I just couldn’t find the words to tell her how much she meant to me. I looked up a little at her and she simply shrugged grabbing another handful of popcorn as she walked past me and back to the lounge. I sighed and followed the footsteps she had just taken.
