I was on my way home to my apartment, when I got a call from my mum. Before you ask, why I have a phone it is because after the war, the death count was so high that the gods decided to make the remaining demigods into gods, and said that they were going to stop having kids for a while. Any way, I answered and I heard my mother's happy voice speaking in my ear, "Percy! You have to come home; I have someone for you to meet!" I put my phone back in my pocket and started to jog to my mothers house, I haven't heard her so happy since Paul had died from the attack on New York two years ago. I arrived at the door and knocked before just coming straight in, I saw my mom sitting at the kitchen bench talking to a man with dark skin and no hair. "Hey mom, what did you want? I was all the way over near my apartment when you called." I watched her jump up and the man turn around, I noticed that the man had an eye patch, and not one of those medical ones, but a black pirate one. "Hey mom, what's up with the pirate? He better not be annoying you." I said the last part with a little more force than necessary, but hey go big or go home.. "Oh, no, he's not annoying me." she said with a smile, rolling he eyes. "This is Nick fury and he's my brother, and before you ask, he was adopted by his family many years ago."

I sighed slightly before nodding, I looked at him when my phone buzzed, "I have to take this. I'll be right back mom."

I walked into the lounge room before answering, "Hello?"

"Percy, you remember that favour you owe me"

"Of course Heph', when do you need me?"

"When ever you can. It would be best if you came as soon as possible."

"Ok, I'll be there soon, I'm meeting with my mother and her brother at the moment, I'll come soon"

"Okay. I will see you then. Be safe"

"you too, talk to you later Heph'."

I ended the call and sighed. My mind started to wander to how I now called the gods by their first name, and all the deaths that lead to it

Flashback

First to fall was Tyson, he was speared through the chest while helping and injured demigod who later died from being stepped on.

Next was piper who was mauled and eaten by hellhounds.

Next was Hazel who died by a spear to the chest.

Frank died soon after; he was decapitated while protecting Reyna from two Cyclopes.

Leo fell next. He was stabbed through the stomach and thrown into a river, Katie was then thrown onto him, and her dead body dragged him down, drowning him.

Grover was next to die, he had been leading the forest spirits into battle when a drakon had appeared and burnt most of his army. However, that didn't stop him, with what remained of his army he charged and was able to defeat a large portion of the enemy. He was cut in half and in his last moments, he severed the empathy link that we shared. Ultimately saving my life.

The next death was Jason who after seeing his girlfriend die, went on a killing spree. An arrow to the head killed him as he was fighting beside Zeus.

The death of their cousin spurred on both the son of Poseidon and the son of Hades, into a killing spree. With them decimating almost all of the remaining army.
