"Chirp chirp chirp~"

"Shut up." I groaned as I covered my ears from the annoying sound of birds chirping.

"Chirp chirp chirp chirp ch-"

"Bang!" That was the sound of me getting a textbook and hit the freaking birdie who was making all of that chirping! I placed Lucy's book back down on her desk. Jeez, what does this girl read? This thing is heavier than a pan...

"Hey! Was that you?" I could hear Lucy's voice from the kitchen.

"Yeah! Sorry! I just tripped!" I made up of a lame excuse. Wow, I'm sooo good at lying. I thought sourly but brushed it off.

"If you say so!" Lucy yelled back. I sighed. It's mean exactly 2 days since I joined Fairytail and things are going by pretty smoothly. Just yesterday Lucy made me go shopping. The torture! My legs were so sore, I could barely even stand! But because of that, I got a lot of clothes that looks awesome on me. Not to brag of course. But that would be a lie. Because I love to brag.

And I haven't really been back to the guild after Erza and Natsu interrogated me. I want to stay away from them, as much as possible. Well, at least until we're on good terms.

"Come on Ri-chan, lets go!" Lucy grabbed my arm and lead me out of the apartment. Did I forget to tell you that she also made me a nickname?

"Where are we going?" I asked.

"To the guild of course! Where else would we be going?" Lucy raised one of her eyebrows.

"Right. Totally forgot there for a second..." I said lamely. Wait.

Guild = Natsu and Erza = back to square one...

No! I don't want to go back!

"We're here!" Lucy chirped happily, totally unaware of my dreadful situation. No no. Please please please please please, don't do this to me.

"Lucy! About time you came!" A girl popped out behind the doorway. Levy I think was her name. Yeah, that should be about right. "Oh, is that the new member?" Levy chirped, pointing at me. I nodded and stuck out my hand.

"My name is Risame, you're Levy right?" I said, smiling. She shook my hand. Act friendly, act friendly! You can do this Risame!

"Yeah, my name is Levy, nice to meet you!" she returned the smile. Wow, if this is how easy it is for everyone to trust me, this mission would be a piece of cake. I nodded with a small smile on my face as I followed Lucy and Levy in.

Here it comes...

"Lucy!" a voice called out from somewhere in the guild. Both mine and Lucy's head snapped toward the voice. There stood Natsu, grinning showing all his teeth as he stood proudly with both of hands on his side. "What took you so long?" he asked.

"Please let me live till tomorrow, Amen." I silently prayed.

"Oh, I had to get Risame up too. She's staying with me now for the time being remember?" she pointed at me behind her back. Here it comes.

"Risame?" Natsu craned his head over a little to see me. His eyes widen when his eyes difted over to me. "Ah! You were that girl from yesterday that had fire and lost magic!" he yelled pointing at me, making everyone in the guild snap there head at me. Great going Natsu. You attracted everyone's attention in the whole guild!

Whispers rang out through out the guild. People were looking at me, pointing.

"Fire and lost magic?"

"Who is she?"

"Isn't she dangerous?"

Those were the kind of comments that I usually hear. Though, the last one was painful. I'm not dangerous. Just annoying.

"What are you guys talking about?" A booming voice yelled. There was a big shadow that strangely looked like a gaint.

"Oh master! You're here!" Levy chirped. Waitwaitwaitwait... Wait for just a second! I gulped.

MASTER? He's that big? Sweat started to pour down my face as I watch the shadow of the "giant" grew closer. But what surprised me was that the shadow got smaller? It got so small, that it was even smaller than me.

Then out came this old man who was extremely short. He was bald with only the outer rims of his head containing white hair. And I might add, a thick white mustache. I stared at him with my eyes wide, jaw wide enough to catch a fly.

"A-are you the master?" I asked, pointing a finger at him. He raised an eyebrow.

"Yes?" he said, making my eye widen even bigger. You serious? This old shrimp?

"I'm sorry for being so rude but are you really this short?" I asked slowly. I could see the blood vessel appearing on that bald head of his.

"Yes. Is there something wrong with it?" he said narrowing his eyes at me. I could see his was trying hard not to glare or let out his anger. I guess his shortness is a bit of a sore subject.

"Um... well..." I started playing with my hands, pretending to be nervous. "Can I... um... join... Fairytail?" I asked. His eyes widen but quickly changed into a eye closed smile.

"Of course! Why didn't you say that earlier?" he said. I sighed of relieve. "Mirajane! Can you get the stamp?" the master yelled. Step one: Complete! I mentally cheered.

Mira quickly grabbed something from somewhere and hurried over to me. "Where and what color do you want your Fairytail stamp to be?" she asked with a cheery expression. I thought about if for a minute. My other guild (Sabertooth) stamp is still on me. I better not let them see it... I thought slowly. I quickly looked at Lucy and saw that her stamp was on her top of one of her hands. Then a sudden ingenious thought came to my head.

I held up my left hand and said, "Um. maybe on my left hand?"

"Ah, like Lucy?" Mirajane said. I nodded.

"Though, Lucy has it on her right hand. Oh! Can you make it dark red like Erza's hair? It's a really pretty color..." I asked as Mirajane nodded and got out the color. I held out my hand as she carefully stamped the mark on my hand.

"Ok! Done~!" she sang as she showed me my hand. I got to admit, it did look good. I heard clapping around me. I turned my head to see everyone clapping. Erza, Levy, Lucy, Natsu. Everyone in the guild. They were cheering. (Cough. Well. Not all... Cause you know. Big scary monster with lost magic!) Lucy came up to me and hugged me tightly.

"Isn't this great? Now you're part of Fairytail!" She exlaimed, smiling. The master stood next to me. He stood there also had his small smile on his face.

"Now I welcome Risame, to our humble family, Fairytail!" He yelled. Everyone cheered and clap even more. It shunned me on how much these people cared. When I joined Sabertooth, no one really cared on who joined. I was just one of their 'tools' for battle.

"Welcome to the family!" Natsu grinned which I returned with a confused look.

"Family?" I asked.

"Yup! Fairytail is one big family!"

I grinned back at him. "I think I'm going to like this family!" And it wasn't a lie.

---------------------------------------------------------------------

I don't own Fairy Tail! Just Risame and maybe... just maybe, a few more ocs. ^-^
