******Charlotte's POV******
I woke up to the sound of birds singing and checked my clock it was 4:05am I had two hours to get washed, dressed, teeth cleaned, breakfast, and pack my bags into the car. I sat up and yawned. My head throbbed a little, but way less than I expected. I felt a sigh of relief; it would be so embarrassing to have a hangover on the flight. I stood up and made my bed, stretching a little before grabbing my night gown and slippers and making my way downstairs for breakfast. Downstairs there was only my Mum, cooking an omelette for me, she had obviously heard me creaking down the stairs, and decided to start making it so it was ready for me to eat.
I opened the fridge and grabbed a carton of orange juice, I sat down and plugged a straw inside slurping it slowly. I watched Mum slide my finished omelette onto a plate and drizzle it with ketchup. Yum, yum. She placed it on a table with a knife and fork, and made herself busy by washing up the frying pan. Cole, Melanie, Alice, David and Mum and Dad, were all going to say goodbye to me today, Alice was also going to see her brother, which would give me the perfect opportunity to say thanks for yesterday.
I scoffed my omelette hungrily, and finished within two minutes. Well if you've emptied the contents of your stomach and a majority of the acid, you'll be as hungry as I am! I handed Mum my plate and waited until she finished. Once she had I hugged her tightly.
"I'm gonna miss you Mum" I whimpered.
Mum stroked my head and kissed my cheek, "I'm going to miss you too darling" she said. I swallowed back the tears that threatened to leave their ducts and smiled half- heartedly.
"Well I better get ready" I said breaking the hug.
"Yes you better hurry or you'll be late for your check-in" Mum said, and I ran upstairs to get dresses.
******Sam's POV******
I woke up earlier than I ever have through pure excitement. I ran downstairs, and cooked up some bacon. I checked the time 4:00. Mum and Dad would be up soon, they were watching me go and Alice would see me off at the airport, after she'd seen Charlotte off with Cole.
Once the bacon had finished cooking under the grill, I placed it on my plate and with a piece of bread, collected the juices/fat, and placed it on my plate. I made a kind of sand which with the bacon and fat soaked bread and scoffed it down, relishing the delicious flavour.
When I finished I left my plate on the side and ran full pelt upstairs to get changed. I stumbled into my room, and stripped my dirty underwear off. I grabbed a fresh pair of boxers and pulled them on. I yanked on some warm trousers, t-shirt and thermal socks. I grabbed some large trainers and a coat. I quickly set to work packing my hand luggage bag, and left it in my room as I hauled some of my cases downstairs to go into the car. I pulled my first one down with no trouble seeing as it wasn't too big, and the other two were a breeze it was just the very last one that was completely off the scale. I puffed and panted as I lowered it bit by bit down our steep staircase. Finally I made it down to the bottom. Whoa that took too long. I unlock the door with the car keys and open the car. I open the car door and take it off the hand break, pushing it a little so I can open the boot without scraping the wall. Once I'm satisfied with the distance I lean in and push the hand break back down. I go to the boot and pull it open. I go back indoors and pop the keys on the sill. I drag out two of my lightest cases and manoeuvre them to the boot. I heave each one inside, and push them back as far as they will go. I go back inside and grab my extra heavy one, I wheel it to the car, and with all the strength I have get it into the boot. I pick up my last case which is quite light and place it on top of the heavy one. I slam the boot down and go indoors, making sure to click the car to lock with the keys on the sill. When I get back in Mum and Dad are already dressed and having a mug of tea.
