Accidents do happen, so it seems. But this time, it had a coincidence. Our friend here had a rather...gruesome witness of one. He was just going home from school to continue the same night he's been trying to finish, when people started crowding in the middle of the street, looking upon something on the ground.
As Nico went over with a couple other people, he heard whispers around.
"Oh dear."
"The poor thing."
"Ugh, looks really icky."
He finally squeezed his way into the crowd and managed to stand up straight, asked the person beside him what happened. "It was a runover. That bunny-" he pointed to the animal which is hidden out of their sight by a vet hunched over it "-got runover by a passing car. His face is badly hit."
The vet suddenly stood up and went to get something, finally showing the result of the accident.
It was a pure white bunny, but it's white fur is now covered in blood. It's snout is completely ripped from it's face, showing the lower jaw, throat, and worst of all is it's eyeballs still on the face.
Just that look made Nico double over and release the contents of his stomach.
