  “Today is my baby birthday, so you and Vic better fucking behave or I will embarrass both y’all ass.” This bitch Beauty laughing I ain’t even playing. “Auntie don’t play about her Pooh Poo Promise, no the heck she don’t.” Promise just smiling up a storm lol. We were running around picking up all the party stuff. Lawd black people so last minute. I couldn’t believe B didn’t have everything all together, this child been planning since the day after Promise birthday last year.  Something must be going on with her and Vic trifling ass. That boy is a DAWG (dog) with all capital letters. He does my baby so wrong smdh, one day he’ll get his though. And she’ll finally be done with his ass.

  “So how everything with you and it?” Now this heifer really cracking up. “Who the hell is it MO?” Ughhh sometimes I can’t sand this girl “Victor, real ugly ass. He still m.i.a?” Girl I haven’t even talked to him today, I moved most of me and pooh stuff out the house I’m through with him this time. But I’m not about to stress about this today. Today is about my baby girl and that’s all I’m worried about. Let’s hurry up and finish shopping its already 1’oclock and the party start at 4’oclock.”

  “Well at least let me share some of this good news with you.  Cash asked me to marry him!!!” when I finally get everything out  everybody in the store is looking at me, Beauty starts crying and congratulating which causes me to become emotional ughhh. But I love her to death. And one day I hope she feels the same happiness I’m experiencing.

  “Vic, where are you? We about to cut the baby cake.” This is my 12th time calling him, he showed up earlier surprisingly to help set up the decorations. We decided to not discuss since today is all about Promise. He had to go home and change supposedly when there wasn’t nothing wrong with the outfit he had on. Ughhh I swear this dude gets on my last nerve ughhh. He left at 3 now it 6 the party is almost over. Like really smdh.

  “Don’t even bother showing your face around my daughter no more. I can’t fucking believe you had the audacity to pull some shit like this Victor. There’s no fucking excuse for your absence. I’m through with you all together swear dude. Kill ya self!!!

  I felt my phone vibrate, but ignored it I figured it was Vic trying to apologize. As soon as I make it to the back yard its starts vibrating again. Something tells me to answer it. It’s from an unknown number. Promise is enjoying her party running around with her little cousin and friends. She’s the center of attention like she should be.

  “Hello?”  I answered the phone. It was a nurse asking about Vic. Instantly all the hate I had from him vanished, before I knew I dropped the cake when she informed me he had been shot 4 times and was in ICU in critical condition. After that everything with blank.

“WHO IS IT?” I tried to sound like I was sleep. I looked through the peep hole since they decided not to answer. Standing there was my little brother Cashmere and his best friend Ethic. I stand there for a minute being quiet; I really don’t want to open the door. Don’t want to take the chance of my boo showing up while they here. “Girl open this motherfucker door we can already hear yo fat ass breathing, all hard and shit.”  I can’t do shit but laugh, I went ahead and open the door for them.

“Cash, I know your long head ass ain’t trying to score? Boy I will fire yo ass up.” I’m ready to get on his ass. “Chychy sit yo ugly ass down somewhere. We here to discuss business. So how everything going with you and ole boy?” I can’t get a hi or hey how you doing ughhh fuckers. Ethic sexy ass sitting in the corner all quiet and shit. “We good about to start a family and shit.” I say calm to my brother’s question. “WTF you let this nigga get yo ass pregnant! Fucks see I should’ve had Mo do this shit instead of you. You can’t never do shit right. You ain’t keeping that nigga baby.
