Chapter 1:

I woke up to the sound of voices I didn't recognize . The pain in my head pounding as hard as it could. I fluttered my eyes open when the voices stopped talking .Their was a nurse and a doctor in the room. Wait... Am I at the hospital?!?

" hello there ," Said the" how are you feeling?"

" my head hurts.. And .... What happened" I asked no quite remembering.

" you were in an accident.." Responded the doctor. The world froze in my mind.

My mind suddenly remembering the pervious horrifying events.

" E-Edward .." I mumbled softly

*Flashback*

Pink Floyd was blowing up the speakers in Edwards car. Edward was my boyfriend . He wasn't the best but,I loved him . I caught him cheating on me once. We didn't speak for a while untill he came back to me.

I accepted him back. My friends said it was a stupied ass desition.

But I loved him. He wasn't the guy with jeans cut low and baggy shirts. He was the guy everyone was afraid of. With black long hair, and black eyes. He always dressed in dark colors. I don't know why. He wasn't gothish or emo or anything of the sort. He was taking me somewhere but he didn't want to tell me where. It's was somewhere close to the mountains for so what I was seeing so far. We stopped at a red light when Edwards friend , Josh stopped his car next to ours. Edward and josh carried on a short conversation. Josh didn't bother to say hi to me or anything so I just stayed quiet untill I hear josh ask Edward a question.

" you up for a race?!" Josh asked

" yeah totally!!!" Answered Edward .

" Edward no we can get hurt!" I whispered to him.

" no we can't . You worry about things too much that's one thing I don't like about you!" He hissed at me. I decided not to say anymore.

"Alright loser pays pizza?" Suggested josh.

" alright then.." Answerd Edward

" wait pizza.. What?" I opend my mouth again.

" ohh yeah! Imma go get pizza with josh and the boys after the race.."

" b-but what about our-"

"That will have to wait. Sorry "

I slumped back to my seat . He always did this to me! Why! Did he not like being around me!? Of course he did .. He's my boyfriend .. He loves Me...Right??

My thoughts were interrupted by Edwards black car taking of with such hard force.

"E-Edward don't you think we are going a l-little TOO fast!" I asked quietly. But he didn't respond.

I watched as the miles on the car slowly increased.

65... Then 75... Then 80... Then 85!!!

" EDWARD. Slow down.. Please "

" NO .. Stop distracting me would you!"

" b-but we are going to get killed if u don't stop!"

" how about you stop!"

I stayed quiet as he contined the race.

I tryed to breath in and out as the wind blew back my light brown hair.

I really wasn't a fan of speed, so this did kind of freak me out.

Edward was winning so far. And he kept turning his head to meet eye contact with josh in the red car in back of us. We started approaching a pole. And I noticed Edward wasn't slowing down. When I looked at him , his head was turned, laughing and something with josh.

" EDWARD !!!!" I screamed

He slowly turned his head back and crashed. The car hit the pole so hard it made my head jerk forward to hit the car , then back. Then some how another car hit us . It wasn't josh's car. He stoped his car when he saw we crashed. Our car suddenly flipped over and Edward flew out of the upside down car. He landed on the floor. I was still in the car with blood all over my forehead , legs , and forearms. Edward was on the floor. Moaning in pain.With less blood then I had . His body sprawled out on the floor slowly breathing was the last thing I saw before my eyes closing shut. Darkness started to take over me as i heard an ambulance syrin rushing our way.

**** end of flashback*****

"E-Edward .." I mumbled softly.

" sorry what was that ?" Asked the doctor.

" Edward m-my boyfriend w-where is he!" I practically yelled trying my best to get up.

"Miss summers calm yoursel-"

"No , no , no, no I have..I have to see him where is he!"

" calm down and I'll explain..breath, breath"

I sniffed in and out

In and out.

" ok where is he.." I asked

" we only found 3 people. You and two other teenage girls. The ones that were in the other car.."

"Yeah, yeah I remember another car crashed us. I am talking about the guy with dark hair and a black muscle shirt with a pair of dark blue jeans. H-he was laying on the ground not so far from me a-and I saw him he was there where is he!!!!" Ispoke too fast .

"I'm sorry valentine, we didn't find him.."

" what no!!! No!! No!! Is he -I have to go- where is he-!!

The doctor was now trying to tell the nurse to insert me a medication to relax as he held me down.

I went total gorilla style to try to escape but the doctor was strong and held me down pretty good. I suddenly felt a small pinch in my left arm and felt my muscles losen up . I started to get weaker as seconds passed. In a few minutes I would be in complete darkness. But the only thing I cared about , thought about , the only person I wanted next to me , to see, was Edward . I felt my eyelids starting to get heavy . I managed to say his name in my last breath before I fell asleep .

" Edward.."
