"how do I look?",I asked but she kept staring at me." Am I that ugly?",I asked."u look sexy and delicious,if I was your mate I would mark u right now",she said.We went down the stairs and joined the line of ladies waiting for their mate. the line of bachelors arrived, the alpha king started the ritual first by putting off the torch, the custom is to blindly touch each girls until you feel the power of the mate bond course through your veins.  Then Leonardo started to touch us individually and when he touched me,  I gasped,  I felt it, that feeling of your future with your soulmate flashed in front of my eyes,  I saw a beautiful baby girl, a teardrop slipped out of my eyes and suddenly the contact is lost as Leonardo continued touching other girls, wait,  why was he touching other girls,  I am his mate, he is mine.

"Then,  let us get it over with,  I, Leonardo royale maledioxio reject you Serena Wolfe Lindsay as my mate", a searing pain cut through me and I felt a part of me being snatched from me, the baby, I can't feel it in my soul,  everything is gone,  you are evil,  I will never forgive you",  I said as I blacked out.

I ran and ran away from my fears,  my sorrows.  Marcus was howling and wailing as he cried and hurts for the loss of his mate,  I cried for the first time in my life,  I did not cry when my mother or father died,  I had to be stong but now I have to be strong,  I couldnt afford the people seeing me as weak but now Serena made me feel a pain in my heart that caused  tears to fall from my eyes.  I wanted to run to her but I can't,  she was safe without me.  It was tearing me apart but I remembered that she was safe without me.
