"Good morning, Miss Wolf." Henry Reynolds walks into my office; Lana following behind him slowly.

"It is morning; good is an optional adjective though, isn't it Mr. Reynolds?" I lean back in my chair, and stare up at him.

"Thank you Lana, you may go now." Lana nods her head and walks back out to her desk. I look back up at Henry. He shuffles awkwardly; his eyes shifting sound the room.

"Sit down, Henry." He immediately drops into the chair in front of my desk.  I look at him with a bored expression.

"What was so urgent that you had to have a meeting with me?" I cross my arms over my stomach. Henry clears his throat and looks down.

"I-I'm not finished with my book." I raise an eyebrow and wait for him to continue, but he just sits there.

"And?"

"Well I know that my editor had a deadline for next week for me, but I don't think I will be able to make it. I was hoping that if I went to you then you would be able to persuade her to give me more time." He clears his throat again, and drops his eyes into his lap. I slowly lean forward onto my desk.

"Mr. Reynolds, by your body language I can tell that you yourself don't even think this meeting will end well for you. I can tell you now that it won't. I may be the head of this company,  but I'm not going to tell one of my editors to extend her deadline just because some amateur writer didn't complete his job. So; Mr. Reynolds, I would suggest you head home. Stop trying to get people to change their rules just because your ass is too lazy to work."

I press the button in my intercom.

"Lana; Mr. Reynolds is done here, please see him out."

I sit back in my chair. Henry stands up quickly, and walks towards the door.

"I look forward to reading your new book next week, Mr. Reynolds." I say to his back.

Lana open the doors, and Henry quickly walls past her.

"Will that be all, Miss Wolf?" I nod my head, and Lana closes the doors again.

I stand up and go grab my phone out of my purse. I unlock it, and dial Lathan number.

My phone rings a few times, then he answers.

"Hello, darling; what can I do for you today?" I smile.

"Hey Lathan. I was just calling to see how you are."  I walk over to the back windows of my office, and stare down at the ground.

"I'm great. Evan decided the new DJ was perfect for the job. Mathias is taking me out to lunch in am hour."

"Tell Mathias I say 'hello'. I'm glad we have a DJ." I step away from the window, my intercom buzzes.

"One second, Lathan."

I walk back to my desk, and press the button.

"Yes, Lana?"

"Sorry to bother you, Miss Wolf; but the design team just called and said they have to change the meeting time to six instead of five."

I roll my eyes, and pinch the bridge of my nose.

"Fuck. Okay, okay tell them I will meet them in conference room A downstairs."

"Will do." I nod my head and walk over to the couch.

"Sorry about that Lathan."

"It's alright, darling. Going by what I just heard; you wont be home for a while tonight?" I shake my head, and lay down on the soft couch.
