I went home and snuck back into my window. Little did I realize my mom would be standing there.
"What."
"Don't what me young lady I have been looking for you everywhere. I was worried sick!"
"And yet I'm to the one who always gets blamed."
"What are you talking about Mariam."
"You don't realize that I'm the one who should be mad at you. Mom you lied to us for over a year. Do you blame me for trying to get out. You hid this from us and I totally should be able to go out because you have no idea what you have done. I trusted you I thought you were the only one left but I guess I was wrong."
As I said that last word tears started coming out like Niagra Falls. I can't believe I actually cried in front of my mom. Her eyes went soft and for s moment there I actually saw the old mom. The one who cared about making everyone else happy and who loved you no matter what, but that didn't last long. I ran into my bathroom. I wanted to be alone. I needed to be alone.
The next morning wasn't so bad. My family had gone out to do some errands so I was by myself. We all know that they wanted to avoid me. And I was fine with that because I wanted to avoid them too. I got out my cereal and went on to instagram and Twitter. I'm never usually allowed to bring out my phone at the table but I was alone so yay to that. My phone vibrated and I saw that it was a text from my mom.
"Me,your uncle, and Miles are going to stay at your Aunts house for a while because the car broke down and we don't know anyone else here. There's some leftovers in the fridge eat on. Be back in a while.
"K."
Oh boy oh boy was this the happiest news of my life. I started getting really happy. That's the first. I COULD DO WHATEVER I WANT YAY!
I turned on Spotify and turned it up listening to some of my favorite artists. I went on jumping on the couch singing at the top of my lungs. I turned on some Netflix and decided to watch some movies. The fault in our stars had me in tears by the end.
My eyes started to get droopy and I realized I was starting to fall asleep. Man what time is it. I checked the clock and saw it was almost midnight. I quickly brushed my teeth trying to keep my head up and went to bed. I got out ny earphone and played some tunes. Music helps me fall asleep as you can probably guess.
I was in a deep dream where I was somewhere but I didn't know. Then the guy that I had net at Starbucks started saying to me it should've been us. It should be been us. I quickly jolted up and saw my phone was playing tori kelly's song.I didn't know why Jason was in my dream maybe I might seem today maybe I won't. I kinda did want to see him again and I knew that the place where I would probably see him is Starbucks. I didn't really know but I decided to give it a shot besides I love their caramel fraps.
I quickly got dressed and went out as I was almost going to order someone tapped me on the shoulder. Please let it be Jason, please let it be Jason. I turned around and what do ya know it was of course Jason.
"Fancy seeing you here stranger."
"Hey to you too."
"Mariam right?"
"Yeah Jason?"
"Yep. So anyway what are you doing here."
"Oh I just thought that I would get some breakfast here since their drinks usually get me to wake up."
"Nice Nice."
"Oh well it's my turn to order."
I went up to the counter.
"Hi can I have the banana bread and a small caramel trap."
"Coming right up that would be 10.11."
"Ok" as I started to get my card out I had saw Jason's hand go in front of me.
"I'll handle this my treat." And he then handed the money to the cashier.
"You know you didn't have to do that right?"
"I know I just wanted to." He said As he smiled at me with those beautiful hazel eyes of his.
