"You're Different... I'm Loving It!"

Hey Guys, This is my first story and i hope you like it :D

(Prologue)

I woke up to the rays of bright sunshine in my eyes. "Ugh" i said as i dragged my lazy butt out of bed. I went downstairs and heard nothing but silence. Weird... usually i hear my parents bustling through the house trying to get work done. I walked into the kitchen and realized i was right... nobody was home. So I started to to make a bowl of cereal, when i headed to the refrigerator to get the milk, i noticed something was taped to the front of it. A note?

" Dear Claudia,

Me and you're father have decided you are old enough to live without us telling you what to do. We decided to move and leave you with the house and all its contents.The house is paid for and we left you with an account full of money. No bills will need to be payed, we will keep youre account full of money. We are so sorry we didn't tell you we were leaving, it was just too hard. Its time you learned how to live in this world on you're own. We will write and call often. We love you.

Great, they just got up and left me, that's nice. Notice the sarcasm... Well i can't blame them, they were always afraid of me anyway. You are probably thinking why, right? Well I was born different.... I was born a Neko. For those of you who don't know what that is, its a cat-like demon and i was one of them. I was born with black cat ears on the top of my head, ice blue eyes, a black, long cat tail, sharp nails, and my teeth look normal except the "vampire" teeth are really sharp. So all and all I'm a cat- like person and yes i have to hide it from people as I do attend High School and I would probably be hunted down and tested on if someone found out what I am. So my parents were kind of afraid of me... so that's probably why they left. If you are also wondering yes i can turn into a real cat. I am obviously a black cat and well black cats are supposed to be bad luck... as you can already see, i am a target to bad luck. Yay me :D (note the sarcasm again)

Sorry the first chapter is boring, I had to explain everything and get everything set up for the story... I hope you enjoy the future chapters better =) Also the future chapters will be longer.
