Chapter Ten:
Jonathan's POV:
He couldn't believe that stupid idiot. How could he have gone to that party even when he had told him the guy was dangerous? He signed, okay he hadn't told him he was dangerous but how was he suppose to know the other would run off to him. Especially run off to one of his parties! Did he not know anything? Louis's parties were famous only for three things: booze, sex, and dirty pranks. Most of those "pranks" ended in girls not knowing the last few hours of the night and losing their virginity. Did he really have to go to such a party? He grunted in frustration as he suddenly hit the brakes, as a red light hit in front of him. "Damn it!" he shouted as his car jerked to a halt and he slammed on his wheel angrily. That stupid idiot!
Jaycees's POV:
He'd never been to a party before. What he saw before him surprised the living out of him. In the front yard there were cars parked everywhere, bodies included. The bodies moved in sync against the cars or in the cars fogging up the windows. Looking away from the scene he tried his best to step over the plastic cups littering the front yard.
He was very nervous to walking into a party like this. He’d been invited by one person that seemed to like him but that did no good if the rest of the party didn’t. It was sure to be that as the rest of the party was from his school which his whole school didn’t like him. It didn’t really bother him that his school didn’t like as he was by now use to it, but it did suck to not have any friends but he wouldn’t have wanted to have any friends with his dad being the way he is. Now that he was gone he could afford some friends, couldn’t he? But then again he would just leave them all and go off to college to never speak to them again.
Frowning he set his hands in his pockets self-consciously as he walked through the open front door passing by dancing strangers, hazed filled rooms and even the back windows where he saw people stripped down to their birthday suit in the hot tub and pools. He didn’t exactly know where to go. He had thought of finding Louis but he had no idea where the other would be. He didn’t want to check all the rooms and outdoors because he could already feel the eyes on him, the laughter behind his back and even the whispering. He was about to leave when he found the kitchen to not see Louis anywhere but was stopped by a hand holding out a red plastic cup out in front of him. He frowned at it as he leaned side ways to see who was holding a drink out to him. He wasn’t dumb enough to just accept a drink from any one. But what he saw made him immediately smile as he saw Louis amazing smile. Taking the cup Louis teased, “You made it! I thought you’d chicken out.” Jaycee laughed as he blushed. “I wouldn’t say the thought never crossed my mind. I never been to a party before.” He gave a small smile to the other as Louis clapped his hand around the other’s shoulder. “Really? Well congratulations on your first party.” He then nudged Jaycee’s arm which held the alcohol. “Drink up! You aren’t enjoying yourself unless you drink at a Louis party.” The other laughed as well as Jaycee before he tipped the plastic cup back and drank. The alcohol was merely only beer which warmed Jaycee’s throat as it went down. But there was something odd about the taste as he’d never tasted beer was such a strong fizz. He figured it was just a new brand and when he had tasted alcohol he was only a kid so how was he suppose to know the difference then.
Grabbing Jaycee’s cup, Louis broke up another beer bottle, poured it into Jaycee’s cup before handing it back to him. “Thanks.” He smiled not being able to take his eyes off Louis. He would never admit to anyone that he would look at a guy in such a flattering way but he does. He found them attractive but off limits. Well of course most men where off limits and he never knew how to approach a guy to be with him. He was still in the closet about his gayness and wondered if Louis was open about it. He had seemed that way when he gave him his number, saying such nice things to him and inviting him to his party.
