November Chills (Plus intro)

Hey readers, welcome to my first collection of one-shots. The stories will mainly be random ideas for my mind and some, like this one, may be loosely based of mc of an image or video. There will be LOTS of fluff, some sad stories and maybe more.

Nagisa and Rei were walking home from school. It was a peaceful Friday afternoon in late November. The sky was grey with snow clouds, promising the later arrival of light flurries.
"It's so cold!"
Nagisa's voice broke the silence as he wrapped his arms around himself in attempt to stay warm.
"I told you this morning to bring a warmer jacket," Rei reminded the shorter teen, glancing down at him. The blonde had only worn a pastel pink varsity jacket, claiming this morning that it would be enough. Rei had tried to warn him about the coming south winds, but he insisted he'd be fine. Rei had been sure to dress warmly; he was wearing a thick indigo down jacket as well as a purple scarf.
"Hold on," Rei said, stopping in his tracks. Nagisa stopped as well, looking back at Rei.
"Hmm...?"
"Turn around for a moment," Rei instructed. Nagisa did as he was told, although he was confused as to what Rei was implying.
After a few moments of hearing shuffling from behind him, Nagisa felt a warm embrace being placed around him. Nagisa immediately snuggled into the warmth of the feathery jacket, pushing his arms through the overly large sleeves.
"Thanks Rei-chan!" Nagisa chirped happily, a bright smile on his face as his pink eyes lit up with delight.
"You're welcome, Nagisa-kun." Rei replied with a faint smile, ignoring the cold air that was now biting at his sweater.
"Just promise me you'll remember a coat next time?"
"I will, Rei-chan!"
With that, to two continued to walk home as light snow began to fall. Nagisa was clinging onto Rei's arm in attempt to keep him warm as well.
"I love you, Rei-chan~" Nagisa added lightly, a faint but bright smile on his lips.
"I love you too, Nagi-chan." Rei replied, receiving a giggle from the shorter male when he used his nickname.
