Skyfall listened to the sidelines as Greywhisker reported what they had seen during the patrol. There hadn't been much, the fox had gone away past the Great Aspen and they had decided it wasn't coming back soon. Other than that they had caught and eaten a few squirrels. When they had gotten back Rainpool had been waiting at the entrance to the clearing and walked next to Skyfall until they had gotten to Oakstar sitting down waiting next to his den, a giant oak (ironically) with roots raised slightly above the ground, forming an entryway to the tunnel under the tree where his den was, moss-filled and earthly. The Stars had begun dotting the sky.
Rainpool stared at Skyfall until she caught her eye, only have listening. The white medicine cat looked at her expectingly, the blue-grey she-cat nodded and sighed, it had been a long patrol, well, the clan borders weren't exactly small either, she wanted sleep.
Greywhisker finished reporting what little had happened on the patrol and walked away to the warriors den, most other cats that had been on the patrol trailing behind him. Skyfall yawned and stood up, following Rainpool to Oakstar.
Oakstar headed paw steps and turned away from his den to see Rainpool, Skyfall close behind, "Yes?"
Rainpool began, putting on a professional-sounding voice, "When I went to the star pool last night, I had a vision I was drowning, as I told you. Today, after the fox attack, Skyfall had a similar sensation when she looked upon the river today."
Oakstar just looked confused, "But how?"
"I don't know, it just happened." Rainpool was looking Oakstar in the eye and Skyfall was standing behind her, How? That is a good question. Maybe? I don't know, I can't think right now.
"Maybe come back tomorrow morning, I think we'll be able to think better then." Skyfall looked at him through half-closed eyes and he twitched his whiskers slightly, then turned and headed into his den.
"I guess it is almost moon high." Rainpool muttered, then stalked off to the medicine den.
Skyfall walked to the bramble patch that formed the warriors den, almost dragging her legs. She lay down on the soft moss of her nest, right next to Thunderstep's, and fell asleep almost instantly.
