Chapter 3: The Meeting

One day Teddy moved to Atlanta, Ga From Detroit,Mi. She didn't know anyone down there except her ex boyfriend Dez who she had recently broken up with. Her mother registered her at Redan High School and it was there she met her crush. Ky'Rei. Ky aka Tobey was with his best friend Ricky "Silento" Hawk. Ricky was a Singer/PopStar/Song writer. Tobey was a Wide Receiver and Quarterback in football and also a point guard and shooting guard on the basketball court. On the day that Teddy registered she was sitting in the office waiting on her mom to finish the paperwork. Tobey and Ricky walked in the office to talk to the coach about letting Ricky tryout for the team. Then that's when it happened Tobey saw this beautiful student and she was looking back at him. He gave a gentle smile then a wink and she quickly turned her head, so that he wouldn't see her smiling and blushing hard. A few minutes later coach Moore said Ricky had made the team, and the guys left. Then teddy was officially registered and she was going to 3rd period Mrs. Ross Class. Tobey and Silento was in the back of the class rapping and freestyling until she walked in. Everyone stopped and looked at her especially Tobey then Ricky said aye Bruh that's the girl who was feeling you. "Go holla at her mane " said Ricky.

She sat in the front of the class, so Tobey ran and got the seat right behind her and introduced himself. Hi my name is Ky'Rei, but everyone calls me Ky. She responded and saying I'm Aaliyah but everyone just calls me Liyah. Ky said Imma call you Teddy and she blushed. Then she said Imma call you Tobey, and looked at her like Tf really . Ky just smiled and said ok babe. She looked at him and Saud I'm not your Bae. He said why, and she said because it's too early and they had just met. The bell rang for lunch and Ky said can I pay for your lunch and she said I'd like that except I don't eat school food. So Tobey I'll brb and he went to the Vending machine and brought two sodas and $10 worth of junk food for her and him. At launched they talked about her past all the way up until her moving from Detroit. They also talked about Ky being born and raised in the Atl and staying in Tennessee whenever he went on a vacation. When lunch bell rang when lunch was over they walked back to class together and he leaned in for a kiss but she rejected it and said No. Little did My know he was going to end up walking home with her.
