A friend of mine actually wrote this with other characters, so props to my boo.
And I'm sorry if it seems rushed, or if the ending sucks, my editing skills arnt the best and I edited on my iPad...and the original has a back story on Ninja Styles...but here's what I have for y'all!!-------
"Let me get this straight," Ninja Styles said, tapping the table to emphasize his point. "The king of this kingdom locked his only son into a tower because a fairy cursed the prince to be so beautiful as to make all men fall in love with him instantly?""Tha's righ," Styles' drinking companion slurred. "Now 'es in a tower wha no one c'n get to."
"No one," Styles repeated, glancing at the other men at his table, seeking for a bit of extra confirmation.
The others just nodded. "They say it's the tallest tower in the world," one of them offered.
"And that no one can possibly enter it, save by the king's command," another said.
Styles wasn't as drunk as some of the men at the table, but that comment still sounded like a challenge to him-and the thought of a beautiful man on the other end of such an adventure made him reconsider his traveling plans.
He'd only intended to be in this kingdom long enough to pass to the other side, but since he had no better destination than 'away,' there was no reason why he couldn't stop and prove just how foolish a claim 'no one can enter' truly was. "Well," Styles said, accepting the new tankard the barmaid handed him. "The way I see it there's no one, and there's 'no one'-" he made finger quotes with his free hand "-and I bet you anything that I can get inside that tower."
--
Prince Louis watched the sunset from his tower; it went down in fiery streaks of red clouds, dipping at last below the horizon and taking the last of the light with it.
"I hate to be locked in the tower," Louis sang quietly to himself. "I sit here hour after hour, through sun and snow and shower. What I wouldn't give to be outside like the flowers." It was a stupid song-it was a very stupid song-but there was no one to around to criticize him for it. There wasn't even anyone around to hear it; Louis' father had seen to that quite thoroughly.
Well, that wasn't quite true; there was a selection of young and beautiful maids who served Louis, but they generally left him alone at night-if only because they were each waiting for an invitation that Louis was never going to give.
"Hiding in a tower won't hide me from my fate," Louis hummed, turning away from the window. It was the next verse he was working on for his song, which already had a dozen of them. Most were about how bored he was and how much he wanted to be out of the tower, but this time Louis had thought he'd try something new. "Even if my fate comes late-no, that's no good," he muttered, preparing for bed. "Hiding in a tower won't hide me from my fate, it just my father that it makes me hate." He grinned fiercely at that thought, but it was a terrible line.
"Hiding in a tower won't hide me from my fate-"
"Especially when there's a ninja at the gate," said a voice near the window.
Louis gasped and spun around, his eyes widening as he saw the dark shadow lurking at his window.
"I suppose I'm more at the sill," the black-clad stranger said, hopping into the room. "But that doesn't rhyme with 'fate.'"
"Um," Louis said, stepping back slightly in confusion. "Who are you? and what are you doing here?"
"I'm Harry," the stranger said. "And I came to visit."
"Yes, but how did you get in?" Louis asked, glancing at the window as if he could see the top of a ladder there.
"I have magic boots that can take me anywhere," Harry replied, wandering around the room and looking at things.
