"Why do people even believe that in every fairy tail the boy saves the girl? That love is the reason we all are here. Why can't we save our selves for a change?" Looking at Chelsie I raised a brow at her bewildered expression.

"Is this your way of getting out of your date with bre?" Chelsie said as she rolled her eyes not understand why I couldn't just date.
Looking up at her I smirked retorting back
"Now why woul.."

i was cut off before i could even finish the thought by a some guy joining us.

"Why can't she save her self? If it's what she wants. Who are we to stop her?"

Looking him over with his blonde hair and almost grey eyes I cracked up a little.
"And you are?"
"Some one who isn't afraid" he smiled.
He sounds crazy.
"Isn't afraid of what?"
He paused a moment and whispered darkly
"Anything."

Chelsie glanced over at him and back at me. With worry playing across her porcelain features.
I smiled at her unconcerned
"Mind if I steal her?" He looked at Chelsie only to grab my arm and tug me away. Leaving a shocked Chelsie behind us shouting at me.

"Melina!.."

"Excuse me? What are you doing?"
"Walking." he said with little worry.

"Actually this is consider dragging." I tugged my arm away from him stopping in my tracks.

Letting go of my arm he pointed to a gated property near Madison Street.
"Fine if you must know. Where heading in that direction."
"Uhu." Because that's helpful.

"Do you like hawaii?"
"Do I what?" Is he mad?
Ignoring my remark he kept going. "Never mind you seem more of a Rome type of girl. Your into poetry right?"
He is seriously off his rocker.
"Does it matter? Who are you?"
ignorimg me he continued as if he didn't hear me.

"I do believe john Keats is your favorite?"
Stopping mid stride I looked at him. "Yeah.. How did you know?" Racking my brain for a minute I don't ever remember telling anyone that.
He just simply smiled. "Does it matter?"

Who is he? A stalker?
"What's your name?" I asked

"Your names Melina is it not?"
probably astalker. Looking towards the gated property we were now in the middle of a field a good ways from the street we left Chelsie on.

Why didn't she follow me? Or stop him? Looking at this guy more closely I noticed that he had good muscle tone and a lean stomach. Plus he was tall, around 6'1.

"Does being here with out you friend make you uncomfortable?" He was momentarily serous as he watched me glance behind me in the direction of Chelsie.
"It was not my intention."

"We can go back?" "I just wanted a few stolen moment with you."
"You don't even know me."
"Do I need to?"

Smiling at me he winked.
"Hold this" he grabbed my hand and placed a somthing metalic in it.
Turning my hand over I could see it was a bronze compass.

Looking up at him confused I held the compass up at a loss for words.
"A compass?"
"Is it really a compass though?" He smirked at me
Looking at it again I rubbed my thumb over the smooth surface. It looked like a compass. Except it was pointing the wrong direction.

"Okay so its a broken compass?"
"No, its a beesecher."
"A beesecher?" I asked humoring him.
"Yes and in the simplest of terms, it will show you the one thing in this world that you need most."

Okay so he's just crazy. Got it.
"Yeah..well this has been fun. But I need to get back to Chelsie before she has a heart attack." Turning to leave I waved a solid good bye.
"It was nice to meet you.. Um, whoever you are."

That was weird.

Walking back to The street me and Chelsie where on I reized a moment to late i still had the compass.

Turning around abruptly to give it back, I was confused when I realized he was no longer in the field. Scanning the field and the gated community in the distance I didn't see him.
