Summer Dreams

Where by chance did we go when I dreamed? Was it to that secret glade at night? Where we talked, talked of thing for hours. Where we wined and dined. Where we told each other of our desire. I must confess your auburn tress glowed in the moonlight like fire. I must have had too much to drink, but when you took off your dress your skin shimmered like a pearl under the moon's pale rays. I was so enchanted by your beauty that I could have laid there for days. As you lay naked beside me, I thought for sure an angel had descended or I was in heaven. As the night waned on and you slumbered, I could not resist but to give you a secret kiss. As I kissed you, you did not stir, but I heard you purr. I held you close to me, feeling your warm skin caressing mine. As drink over took me, my last waking thought was how you looked so elegant, so beautiful, so divine. When I awoke I found alas it twas but a dream.
