Chapter 16:

Niall's POV:

I wrap a towel on my waist. My hair was dripping all over the floor and my body was still wet. "You smell nice." Bella giggles sitting on my bed. I had just gotten out of the shower. "Thanks." I smirk at her.

She was wearing one of my t-shirts that I gave her which was way too big. Also some shorts that had to be tied with a rubber band in the back. Bella looked cute with my clothes on. She sat on my bed with her knees folded to her chest, watching my every move.

I had to get some boxers on so I take the towel off of my waist. "AH! Niall!" Bella shrieks and covers her eyes, being caught off guard. I chuckle and slip on the boxers.

She likes it..

I grab some shorts and dry my hair roughly with the towel. I was still shirtless, but it was my house. I didn't care. I shoot under the covers of my bed, still cold from the rain. Bella moves over and comes under the covers. I wrap my arm around her and she cuddles into my body.

She smelt like my cologne. I sniff her hair and a fruity sent fills my nose. "Niall what are you doing?" she laughs looking up at me. I shrug my shoulders and kiss her quickly. She jumps but settles back into my arms again.

"Why were you crying earlier?" she looks back at me. "I wasn't crying.." I smile back at bella. "Yes you were Niall. I can tell your hiding something." She sits up and takes my hand.

Crap.. how did she know?

"I think I know when your upset." Bella smiles. I shake my head, denying what she said. "Just tell me Niall. Please? You've done so much for me. I just want to help." She pleads. "I don't want you to worry baby." I push her hair out of her face. Bella frowns and looks away from me.

I couldn't tell her about my sister. The day Jason took her away still haunted me. I should've just stayed with Ally. I should have never left.

I clench my fists and take a deep breath. "Alright fine. You don't have to tell me." Bella faces me again and gives me a small smile.

Her warm face soothed me a down a bit. "Thank you." I kiss her forehead softly. "For what?" She looks at me confused. "For being you." I smile and close my eyes. My body was tired and my eyes were shutting by themselves.

"I didn't do anything.." Bella mutters. I chuckle and pull her closer to my body. "Just get some rest." I hold her next to me and slowly fall asleep.

Bella's POV:

"Just get some rest." Niall closes his eyes and pulls me toward him.

I sit up and stare at Niall. Why was he so hard to figure out?

I sigh and stroke his soft hair. His breathe was steady and slow. I laugh to myself as he was already asleep.

"Your such a mystery.. I won't force you ever to tell me things but you should know that ill always be here for you." I whisper to a sleeping Niall.

He couldn't hear me anyways.

I shake my head and lay back next to him, cuddling into his warmth. I close my eyes and was about to fall asleep when Niall turns and wraps his arms around my lower waist.

"I know you'll always be there for me baby. I love you." He whispers into my ears before slipping into my dreams.
