Chapter 2

         The crowd erupted into cheers and hands was clapping loudly as the lights turned back on, Stella took a moment to observe the exquisite beauty of Lucinda. She was the definition of seductive, dangerously beautiful something that she needs to stay away from, but it's just something that pulls her back in. Lucinda was dressed in a shiny golden dress, her back is a low cut exposing her smooth slender back and her long wavy brown hair was placed on the left side. 

           Don advanced towards Stella with a glass of champagne with a questioning look as Stella whispered into his ear: "All clear boss." Don beamed as he patted her back saying: "Good job Stella now enjoy the night! Hope you have lots of fun and find yourself a nice lady!" Stella chuckled as Don stopped the waiter who was circling around the party and gave her a glass of champagne. Don was aware of Stella liking girls since she was younger and he gladly accept it. Stella put on her devil mask as she started walking towards the bar, but in the midway of walking there a hand grabbed her hand pulling her into a dance. The music switched from party songs to a more slow dance song, she felt those familiar hands on her waist. The mysterious woman was wearing a black swan mask, Stella smirked as she realize who it was she pulled the black swan woman closer as she said: "A black swan mask miss Chandelier?" 

              Lucinda gripped her waist tightly as she said: "How many times I told you not to call me that Stella?" Stella gulped as Lucinda bit her lips, that was just so damn sexy. Stella nodded as she breathed out her name: "Lucinda." She dreamed of saying that name in her bed but she can't think of that. Lucinda smiled as she trailed kisses down her neck as the lights dimmed, Stella's body was on fire. The band started playing Just A Kiss by Lady Antebellum, Lucinda smirked as she felt Stella's body tense she continued saying: "Much better." Lucinda took a glance at Stella mask as she laughed softly: "A devil Stel? A very handsome one then." Stella smirked as she said: "Yes I'm a devil, I"m not a good person." Lucinda frowned as she heard what Stella was saying: "Stel you are anything than a devil." 

             Stella gazed into those beautiful eyes, whenever she was with Lucinda her defense was completely useless. She said: "Lucinda, I kill people." Lucinda cupped her face as she took off her devil mask saying: "You do, but you are not a killer inside, you are Stella Valentin and you are an amazing woman."  Stella felt her heart beats rapidly as she said those words, but she can't tell Lucinda how she feels. She brushed Lucinda hand away softly saying: "Lucinda, I"m sorry I have to go."                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                           

            As Stella approached the bar, she ordered a whiskey as she bumped into someone. She crouched down to pick up a silver purse as she saw a woman. Wow she is beautiful, she gave the purse back to the woman as she kiss her hand saying: "Greetings my lady, I'm Stella." The woman smiled as she said: "I'm Erica Sovidal." Inside Erica's purse was a police badge with a miniature gun.
