I've changed- Promise me sequel

Chapter 15

James' POV
I start to cry, knowing Riley's dead is the worst thing that could have ever happened to me, but that means they are still looking for me, I just want her to be alive

"Please, Riley, wake up, for me?" I cry and ask this cold and dead Riley lying on the hospital bed, I just hope nothing else bad happens, this is too much torture already...

"I am so afraid to tell you this but there is nothing you can do Sir, she'll have a burial in 3 weeks.." The doctor tells me

I get back home to lie on my bed and then I go to the washroom that attaches to my room at look at myself...

"What did you do James? you ruined everything. You let Riley just die like that. You should have saved her... You made her die" I say to myself

"If you were just protective and kept your eyes open this would have never even had happened, it is all you're fault James" I keep saying to myself

"It was me" I say out loud to my mind "If only I was more careful, she is gonna be weak when she's alive, that is... if she is alive anymore" tears fall down my cheek and then I hear the door open

I hear foot steps from downstairs and my heart races super fact, trying to get to my door before this person walks up, and then locking my bed room door

I sit on my bed as then someone tries to unlock my door feeling my heart beat race, and so then I barricade it, and I look outside to see.. Remy?

Remy was a guy who has helping Tom with his evil plan, as I see Remy with a gun but not looking at my window, I quickly close the blinds before he can see me and keep holding the barricade up

And then the worst thing that could happen at this time, I keep hearing the footsteps, but then I also hear the man wiggling the lock trying to unlock my door, as all I can think about is Riley

So I am assuming there are more then one person, my heart gets faster and faster after each second that goes by, and then I start to hear gunshots as then I hear Remy say

"GIVE IT UP JAMES, YOU CAN'T KEEP HIDING IN THERE FOREVER!"

Each time the footsteps, gun shots and the man trying to unlock my door occur, my nerves get faster, my heart rate keeps getting faster and faster, feeling as scared as ever, 

And then the gun shots stop, but then one last time of hearing footsteps, as my heart is still feeling extremely scared

And then the man walks in, and the man is Tom, and when he walks in he stares at my eyes and then drops the gun after 3 seconds of staring at me while I stare at him...

"It's now, or never" Tom says after dropping his gun...

Authors note: Ok, so drama, I have some questions and if you see I added a photo of Riley since well of this line in the book and BTW in the book James says it, and yes that line was from this chapter...

And then the worst thing that could happen at this time, I keep hearing the footsteps, but then I also hear the man wiggling the lock trying to unlock my door, as all I can think about is Riley

And so sorry for not updating earlier it is just that I have a new book coming soon that I am re writing and I have so many ideas, I have already planned out the first 15 chapters and have chapters 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and a bit of chapter 7  done of the book but it isn't published yet
