Chapter 25

I heard a loud growl. I knew for sure it was Ajax's growl. I sat up and winced as I moved around stretching my aching muscles. Outside was dark and the clock in the car read 1:04. I slept most of the way here.

"We're attacking now? No one even got the plans. Where's Lucas?" Ajax says angry.

"He said best time is now then tomorrow. The alpha is leaving tomorrow to go to another pack to form a contract. I don't know where he is right now." Tony says. It doesn't take a genius to know that Ajax is angry. Though the tents I can see his wolf coming out. There was some whispering. I couldn't hear so I crossed over to Ajax side and pressed my ear against the window. "...About her." Was all I head.

"She'll be fine." Ajax says. Who was she? Maybe he is getting another mate that will be better than me. My wolf whimpers at the taught. The door opens and I stop breathing. "Are you eavesdropping?" He asked staring me. "You better not cry..." He growls as I bite my trembling lip. I've gotta stop making myself look weak around him. I feel arms wrap my waist pulling me to a warm yummy hug. He kissed my head.

"Are you ok little T?" Tony says as I lightly sob into Ajax's shoulder.

"Stop it Victoria. You know I hate when you cry." He whispers in my ear. I stop after a few minutes of Ajax pacing with me in his arms. I pushed myself away from him and he just stares at me in shock and a hint of anger.

I'll kill her. Ajax. Is. Our. Mate. My wolf growls. I just stare at them both angry.

"Little T..." Tony starts.

"Shut up." I growl. He brought her up! He's now the enemy. Mia accused instantly.

"Tori." Ajax says. I glare harder his way. He breaks into a fit of laughter. It filled the quiet hate I was sending them both. "Come here Victoria." He says with a smile. I stay put. He smile drops slightly.

"What's up with her?" Tony asked.

"She's jealous." Ajax said coldly. "Come here now. I'm not playing." He says seriously. I simply closed my eyes. When I open them I'll be waking up in the car and my mate isn't gonna regret me. Opening my eyes for them to only see dark blue angry eyes. "You are my mate. When I say something I expect you to listen." Ajax said calmly. I gave him a look that yelled 'fuck off' he growls at that.

"Oh no. Tori you got this all wrong.. You were the 'she' we were talking about." Tony says with apoplectic voice.

"Ready the Warriors." Ajax says moving away from me. He stared at me looking into my soul. I almost submitted and apologized. Hint the word almost. "Car now. Don't get out if you know what's good for you." Ajax says in a tone I never heard before. At towards me at least. It sounded like he meant every single word. He said them with hate.

I got into the car glaring at Ajax he just stared into space. Tony knocked on the window before opening the door. I slid into the passenger's seat.

"We go set up camp while they fight." He says closing the door. Oh goody I'm on the set up crew.

I glare at Ajax as a lady wraps up his cuts. He looks over to me. He's been here 15 whole minutes and now he is finally acknowledging my presence. I turn and go in our tent hut thing. My wolf whimpers I just play on my phone.

"How was set up?" He asked. I glare in his direction before ignoring him completely. "I asked how was set up." Ajax growls next to my ear I hiss at how loud he was. I feel him leave the tent and I lay down on the soft blankets.

"Ajax." I said softly. Not even 5 seconds later he walks back in.

"What." He splat.

"Set up was fine but tiring." I gave him my answer closing my eyes. He lays next to me pulling me into his chest.
