Sams point of view

What fuckkkkk I rolled off my couch
and on to the floor

BANG BANG BANG

It took me a minute to gather myself and realize that the loud banging noise was someone pounding their fist against my door. I stood up and nearly tripped over myself. I had been drinking all night and early into the morning and honestly I was still sort of drunk. I made my way to the door.
" I'm coming God dang!"
I swung open my door prepared to cuss out whoever was pounding on the door, but instantly my mouth dropped to the floor.....it was Jade
" wwwhat are you doing here" I stuttered
Jade pushed past me and charged into my place.
" I'm here to get the rest of my shit " she said in a monotone voice
This was my chance this was my chance to try and fix everything.
I followed Jade around while she searched for whatever she was looking for.
She looked tired and broken I could tell that she had been drinking and all of that was my damn fault.
Jade pulled her charger out of the outlet in the kitchen " one down one more to go" and she headed to my bedroom.
" Jade look I know what I did was beyond fucked up. I'm a fuck up the biggest fuck up in the world but I love you so fucking much and I.....
"SAVE THE EXCUSES " she turned around anger filling her eyes " because I don't give a fuck" she took her backup charger from the table and headed downstairs
" please Jade please don't do this to us" I could feel the tears coming
" do this to us ? YOU did this to us Sam! YOU took our relationship and YOU broke it! YOU cheated on me! YOU hurt me ! So don't act like you're the fucking victim when it was YOU who caused this shit to happen! Jade was shouting at me and she was on a roll. Tears were falling down her cheeks and her hands were shaking
" I love you. I love you more than anything but I will not allow myself to be with someone that disrespects me and our relationship. I wanted to be with you I wanted to have a family with you, but I can never trust you again..I can't believe you would fucking do this to me" Jade was sobbing now
The pain on her face was unbearable I wanted to take that pain away....I wanted to fix everything
I stepped closer to Jade and kissed her check. I wiped away her tears and then kissed her check again,
" just stop" she mumble but I didn't
I kissed her lips softy " let me fix this.....let me fix us" I gently spoke
She gave me no reply. I kissed her lips once more and this time she kissed back. Jade pulled me into her and crashed her lips onto mine our kissing became so intense I got lost in time. I ran my fingers through her hair while my other hand stroked her face that was still wet with her tears. I wanted more of her.....I wanted to make her feel better..... I untangled my fingers from her hair and started to unbutton her shirt.
Jade stepped back
" I can't......I can't do this Sam.....you're the love of my life, but what you did can't be undone and I can never forgive that"
Silence
" Goodbye Sam"
I couldn't speak my mouth had gone dry she was really ending this.
Jade looked at me one last time and then she walked out of the door and out of my life. My best friend, my lover, my everything was gone

* 2 years later*
Sam
"Kiera baby slow downnnn" I laughed as she pulled me along
" we are lateeeee and its all your fault! I may be the fem but you sure take long as hell to get ready" she teased
"Yeah yeah you tell me this all of them time" I was half way paying attention because the other part of me was watching that ass! She looked stunning in her white sundress and white wedges I couldn't believe she was all mine.
" heyyyyyy there's the beautiful brides to be! Late as usual" Nina called out from the gazebo in the park.
" we wouldn't have been late if it weren't for miss thang over here taking forever in the bathroom" Kiera stuck her tongue out at me
" well baby I had to spend that long in the bathroom if I was going to look half as good as you for these wedding announcement photos" I said smoothly
" aww babyyyyy" Kiera ran up to me and gave me kiss
" alright you two cut it out so Will can start with your pictures" Nina joked
Will was Ninas new man and he had agreed to do our wedding announcement photos at a great price. The wedding was still pretty far away but we wanted to get our save that dates out as soon as possible.
We spent all afternoon in the park taking pictures, and by the end of it I was tired as hell! Who knew pictures could take so much out of you! We were all walking back to our cars when I realized I forgot my phone.
" oh shit I left my phone" I said
Everyone stopped in unison
" want me to come with you baby?" Kiera said
" Na you all go ahead I'll meet you at the cars " I shouted across my shoulder as I started off to get my phone.
I was always forgetting shit but I was glad when I saw my new iPhone six where I had left it. I grabbed it and turned around and ran smack right into someone
"Ow"
" shit my bad man I....." I trailed off when I saw who it was.
Jade......she looked different she had cut off the dreads and was rockin a fro hawk and wow it looked good, she had a few new tats on her arm, and it looked like she had gained more muscle.
" I thought that was you " Jade said with a half smile " I wanted to say hi earlier but you looked pretty busy, so I guess um hi " she bit her lower lip.
I hadn't seen Jade since that last night at my apartment. Nina told me she had moved.
" I thought you moved" I said questioningly
" yeah idea, but I came back Cali livin just wasn't for me" she shrugged
" you look really good Sam....it's nice to see you I was just......"
"Jadeeeeeeee"
I looked off into the distance to see who had called her name
It was Michele and with her was a little boy around the age of two.
Something stirred in my stomach I guess she had the family she always wanted.
" I'm comingggg" she hollered back
" I've got to run they're waiting, but it was good seeing you Sam" she smiled
" Yeah same.....you guys make a beautiful family " I said softly
Jade stopped in her tracks" Na....we aren't together.....I actually haven't been in a relationship since....,well you know..... " she trailed off
" oh......well um I gotta get going too soo" I turned around to leave
" Sam" she called out
I turned around " I regret it......i regret letting you go" I stared blankly at her
"I gotta go" I whispered and I took off running
" baby what took you so long" Keira said as I got in the car
" nothing love just some dang kids messing with my phone"
" well let's hurry up and go eat ! I'm starving" she said impatiently
" anything you want beautiful" I said kissing her on the check.
We sped off to make our dinner reservations, but the whole time I was driving I had to clench my hands on the steering wheel to keep from shaking.
