I decided to avoid contact with anyone by going around the mansion. I slipped upstairs and sneaked into my room. I grabbed my pack and took out the water- proof UV spot light. The spot light would do serious damage to a Dorien, but for a Rebecaren, the best it could do was weakening them slightly.

I grabbed my dagger and slid it into its sheath at my waist. I strapped my gun as well. There was no way I was going anywhere in this town without them. I looked myself in the mirror. My dark eyes staring back at me. I had a bad feeling. Things were happening, thing were getting too out of control. I took my jacket off and placed it on my bed. I pulled the bracelet up my arm and went back the mirror.

I could feel the dark magic. It was begging to be released. I could end all of this, Mark Antony, his plans for an army. I could end it all, but would it be any better. An army of vampires, verses the power the bracelet is holding, both would cause enormous bloodshed, but is one better than the other?

My thoughts were interrupted by the sound of someone's fist against the door. I grabbed my jacket and threw it on to hide the bracelet. "Who is it?"
"It's me." Shelby replied from behind the door. I opened the door.

"Hey," I replied, I couldn't help but smile when I saw her. My smile faded when I saw her puffy eyes. It was clear she's been crying. I guess it's all finally come crashing down. "What's wrong?"

"'What's wrong?' Vampires are real. My sister has been messing with my head for years." Seeing my puzzled look she went on. "Ever since I found out about all of this, my memories have been coming back. Everything Sarah's made me forget, I suddenly remember."
"Come in," I felt like the hallway wasn't the best place to be talking about this stuff. She walked in and sat on my bed. I closed the door and sat next to her. "So you remember everything?" I asked.

"Yeah, I remember what happened at the auto shop." She confessed. I could she was hesitant to be around me.

"You're like my sister, aren't you? You can do magic."

"Yes, I can do magic, but I am nothing like her. With enough focus anyone can do magic, but it's much harder for people that aren't born with magic in them." I confessed. "I can do magic, but it takes a toll on me physically."

"Is it possible for me to be able to do it?" She asked. "Magic I mean. Is it at all possible that I could be able to do magic?"

"It's possible yes, but it would take months for you to build up enough focus to make a spark."

"But my sister makes it look so easy."

I raised my hand. "Ignis," I snapped my fingers and a flame shot out of my pointer finger. She jumped away in surprise. "Anyone can make magic look easy." I let the flame die out.

"That was Latin."

"Yeah, different spells are written in different languages. Most of the spells used are in Latin."

"So if vampires are real, what about were wolves?" She asked.

"Real as can be."

"Bigfoot?"

"Yep."

"Ghosts?"

"Yeah."

She paused for a second, trying to think of other mystical creatures. "Unicorns?"
